Awsome job! What did you do to make this happen?
It was a great time and everyone got in as many runs as they wanted. I got to met Riot(Kirk) Steve Hellums, and Gary from this forum. They are all great guys with fast cars. It was hot but all the SRT with pulleys did pretty good. We all had about the same type mods from different companies and all ran mid 12's all day. Steve and I raced each other a lot it was a blast. And I will tell you it was his first time at the track and the man is an animal. His R/T was killer, he won fast R/T with a .003.
With the weather as hot and windy as it was I was glad Code 3 sent me a Heat Exchanger to install or I would have been hurtin. With all the runs I did I had no problems with the Code 3 pulley. And I was happy with the E85 conversion. I drove over 90 miles down and put on 34 miles at the track, about 30 runs and driving back and forth and got 11.1 MPH. I did not think that was to bad
I wanted to say thanks to ChicagoX and Let for putting on a great time. Everyone there was very nice and good people.
Man I'm jealous. I hope this event happens again and if so sign me up! I wonder if we could get enough interest to make this a crossfire day at the track event.
I would love to attend. I had to work yesterday or I probably would have tried to get in. I haven't drag raced since the late 70's...this old guy would love it...keep us posted...
Crossfirefrank, not to change the subject, I would like to know how you chromed the rollbars, send them out or what....??? I want to get them done....I am painting everything else black...I am looking for wheels and tires, would like a good brake set up, rotors, pads, calipers...haven't found anything on the forum...everyone chime in....need to get her done, before Dream Cruise...Doc

BTW, any body that followed the thread about the fan's I installed on my OEM HE. If we would have been bracket racing and had between 10 & 20 minute's between runs I think they would have worked great.
bikecop mentioned the left lane had a problem, I have a slip w/5.76 in the 1/8th & 10.30 in the 1/4
.BIG Thanks to ChicagoX, LET & CTP for putting on the event.

I couldn't stand making the statment about the C32's and saying I would look through my slip's & match up car #'s to make sure it was true, so I went a head & went through my slip's real quick and I don't know for sure if I ran any C32's, some of the MB's car #'s wasn't listed that I could find.
Can anybody that was there confirm the SRT 6's took the C32's
.
The only one's I could comfirm that I personally took was about 3 on a C55 & a few on a E63, I'm know MB expert, but I don't think they were supercharged. But I do believe they were V8's and I think one said 6.3 V8.
Sorry to make back to back post, but since I couldn't find any slip's where I had ran C32's. I didn't want to offened anyone by making the statment in my previous post.
Oh, and since I went through my slip's I found my best run, a 12.510 @ 111.62. I also made a couple runs with my G-tech and the G-tech #'s & slips were almost twin's.

Hey Steve, I bet that 12.5 run makes you feel better about those low numbers from the Mustang dyno. I'm glad to see your car performs just as well as expected.
According to my calculations, with an ET of 12.510 and assuming a weight of 3440 for your car (including driver), you were laying down at LEAST 346.02 whp. Nice!

how hot did it get?
also, was there anyone running on stock intercooler? curious to see how fast or slow they ran compared to those that have that upgrade.
hey LET folks, you guys got anything going in SO CAL?

Oh yes, I do feel better about those low dyno #'s. Charles @ Auto Motion was pretty sure I had a bad tune and a few other people that know their stuff about these engine's & ECU's thought so too. But there is some disappointment too. I knew my car was pretty fast assuming what my G-tech #'s were (12.3/12.4) so I thought with a better ECU tune I would have a MONSTER. I had pretty well decided I was going to take my car to Jerry at LET and have him do a 3 to 4 pull dyno custom ECU tune. Jerry went down the track doing a data log with me twice and said the ECU could use a little adjustment - it was pulling the timing a bit, but it wasn't that bad. Jerry offered to send me a data logger for me to run on the car a few day's if I want, then send it back to him and he would put it in a file for me to send to RENNtech with my ECU to fine tune it a little better. But now after I winning the R/T trophy that included some dyno time, I may go ahead up to Chicago and get a custom tune.
Nice job guys! Looks like it was a lot of fun.
Gary........it kind of sucks racing against the SRT guys doesn't it.
I know when I lined up against NeedsWings at Milan all I saw was taillights.

I would like to say thanks to the Crossfire contingency - you stole two of the three top awards !!!
It was great meeting Steve (Steve Hellums) and Eric (bikecop), and seeing Gary (VALKRYDERGUY) and Kirk (RIOT) and his dad Claude.
The DA (density altitude) was atrocious at well over 2500 ft for most of the day, but it was great seeing all of the cars go down the track.
I'm sore and sunburnt, but it was an awesome time. Thanks to RIOT for letting me make a couple of passes in that animal.
Next Track Day is the 19th of July. Make your plans now.

Steve has fans installed on his stock HE and a pump mod that keeps the pumps running while the car is off. I cant speak for the C32 guys.
I'm going to have to re-boot my computer, so I can watch the vid's Gary posted. I hope that let's me see them.
Our shop C32 stole the number 2 slot for fastest C32's. I had the record in my car at 12.46 and I beat that with another shop C32 by running a 12.42.
My best run of the day was the 12.42 in a C32.
LET now has the #2 and #3 fastest C32's!
I didn't even run my car!

2 SRT-6s and a BMW M5
At least Jay Nixon won one of the trophies and dyno sessions with his STG1 E55.
