THE Rice UNDO
I have been sitting on these pics for awhile, ever since I saw the 100% not rice post on MBworld with the blacked out engine. I figured I am sitting around waiting for the UPS guy, I have a few, why not throw them up.
Here is my air box, and my version of the code three intake. I really wanted to know if you could feel an improvement with a code3 intake but really didn't want to spend the money to find out. Let me just say those on the fence about the code3 air intake DONT BE, not only does it sound amazing, you can for sure feel a seat of the pants difference. I know mine is a little bigger but it doesn't matter, the hole on the back of the air box is only so big.

JA - That's pretty trick! And your entire engine setup looks really clean and tidy.
Is there anyway to connect the your new rear filter so it can pull fresh air in from the window cowl? Just an off-the-wall idea.

) but bottom line were you getting too much air or not enough? I dont know if this would fit with your new 2.5 intakes? As far as hot air goes, I cant tell you the answer to that one, I assume but Code3 has a proven 14hp from essentially the same thing...??

I dont think this intake at the back of the engine bay is a good idea. Essentially when dynoing with the hood open i have no doubt it will make more power. But as soon as the hood shuts its a different ball game. And the area near the back cowl is actually separated from being able to pull air from behind the cowl. Look closely when the hood shuts its completely sealed off.
Feel free to correct me if im misled.

The intake i was running at the time of my low boost is an intake in the shape of a funnel, with screen mesh and a panty hose stretched over it. It was restricitve enought to make my car slow as ****, and put me through a bunch of headaches.
