Some kind of slippage? does the boost increase in line with the increase of RPM.

I'm stunned at how much more torque and horsepower the pulley makes in the lower RPM'S and equally stunned at how it falls off exactly where I thought it would be the strongest. Perhaps Al's tinkering with us in some unknown way. I'm glad you are on this because you seem to have a NEED to understand the what and why. Perhaps some of us can learn and benefit from your inquisitiveness.

Woody, your torque curve is as flat as a friggin board! That's ridiculous for a 3.2 liter. I really need to hit a dyno.

Yes you do since your one of the only ones with a 178 pulley and SC pulley. Also to get your A/F. With distant's lighter weight and your slightly more power, the both of you should be about an even race. Any results?

My manassas drag strip the oldest on the east coast was rained out on the last t+t but I wanted to try it before the MIR meet. Well find out soon enough though, it should be fun. WOODY, ENJOY

I thought other cars with pulleys were maxing out at much higher boost levels (19-21 psig). Is my memory going bad?

BTW, great numbers, Woody! And very surprised by the low end power gains. Hopefully, you'll be making even more power soon enough.

FYI I ONLY have the code 3 pulley, no other ( 178 ) pulley attached. I get a peak of 17 PSIG but only at top rpm..

The computer controlled throttle body is NOT OPEN FULLY UNTIL THAT POINT> This has my most interest and concern. Why does it not open up fully when I hit the gas to the firewall????????

The boost curves show that the boost is ALLOWED to climb with the RPMs but not open fully at lower ranges, whats MB doing here, that sir is the question.

]WOODY, enjoy.

You need a tune Woody! I'll bet the first thing tuners do is eliminate the nanny's in the computer that prevent high boost, or at least control when and how much. If you don't have one already, you should consider one. If for no other reason, for curiosity's sake. (which we know you have in abundance.)

I was told that I could get up to .5 seconds. I want to get the price for a tune and include the bigger Needswings manifolds and possibly another bigger pulley in the tune. For sure I got to get to the track to see what happens with better tires. I smoked the last run with wheel spin and hoped to break below 12.5, wasnt gonna happen. But Ill keep at it. WOODY

I'm relative knew to the SRT-6 but I know the SRT-8's have more nanny's in Hal than stars in the sky. The throttle body won't open past 70% in first. Massive torque management with the shifts. .5 is a huge gain from a tune. It just goes to show how restraining the factory tune is. I like the looks of the dual intake. I also know it was difficult to get them to make a positive difference in the SRT-8. I would actually like to see a tube that was 4" that tapered down to 3" just before the curve into the throttle body even if it meant it had to go from 3" to 4" and back. Venturi like to smooth and speed up the flow. (hint, hint) Also the maximum filter area possible would please me as well. Good luck.
