TVT Design
I took my 6 coupe to Anthony one month after I bought it used with 25K. While I was impressed with the handling and the awesome speed, I never knew the cars full potential until Anthony and his brothers started correcting all the engineering and design flaws that came from the factory. He has reduced heat sink with phenolic spacers that go between the intake and the block, increased HE size by 200%, increased coolant flow by 75%, and his flash tune is instant gratification. He is definatley on this forum, and I'm sure he can work your SLK320, you will be happy with his work and commitment to service. I am.

I have never bveen on the driving side of a drag strip. A couple of airport runways with other cars, but this would be the first time on a real clock.
I have been advise to shut off the ABS and switch the selector to W. Also it has been suggested I let the computer do the shifting becaiuse of the lag when I slap shift it.
I've raced SCCA and needed a 4 point belt setup and a helmet is it the same for the strip with a coupe?

shut off traction control, don't put it in "W", rev to 1500 rpm while holding the brake, and launch on the final yellow lt...if you see green you are too slow...clean your tires and heat them up before you stage as well...just take your time and be cool...you'll do just fine...
