Default garage door opener

My SRT doesn't have the buttons...if I were to find the part number would it be hard to install? And how do they work exactly? just mimic the IR signal?

It looks like this one:

CUSTOM GREY Rolling Code Homelink Garage Door Opener:eBay Motors (item 380123944016 end time May-17-09 20:43:25 PDT)

Sorry I can't help you out with Chrysler part numbers, but I'm pretty sure that's the same HomeLink universal remote that we have mounted on the headliner.

Might involve some cutting and wiring...

Ha Ha well i found the real one. But for the price I would go for the one that milk found. The part on Chrysler Parts Direct - Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Parts and accessories is 285.45 plus shipping. It is located under the roof section then interior trim and then garage dr opener. You have to body parts not replacement. And do you have a roadster or coupe?

also: I see on US pictures that the console directly above the shift lever has a round button on it. What's that? We don't get it here.
an aside:
tamadx, you have an srt, do you have 8 way power seats on both sides? I believe the manual says the passenger has only 4 way, but both of mine are 8. I'm thinking it might be another '06 model quirk!

That's a light indicating that the passenger airbag is off. You see, in the U.S. if our passenger pisses us off we just turn off their airbag.

this is the factory setup. not sure if its official! look in your owners manual for setup instructions and pics
keep in mind my car has a retractable hardtop. the lights and homelink and mirror are set directly in front of were the roof detaches. your setup may be a little different.
looked at the ebay item. everything that isnt gray is hidden under the headliner
