I am not bashing it, I am saying it is ridiculous the constant bombardment all the members here have to endure of the cicci members constantly shoving the cicci corp in their face.

slack off on it some, if people want to join they will and you will have that extra cash in your pockets. if they do not then let them be so they can enjoy this site for what it is. a crossfire enthusiast site, not a infomercial site.

i am sure my posts have the club members all "abuzz" about what to do to eliminate this potential threat against your cash cow.

That is another great point, photobucket, kodak and other image hosting sites have been around for a long time and will be here for a long long time so it is a safe place to host your images.

Lets all just try to get along and get back to enjoying our cars and sharing info (without fees ) and having fun. That is what modding cars is all about

In Woody's other thread, I only suggested that he post his photos at CICCI because he is a member. It was by no means to be meant as a recruitment post. Photobucket & kodakgallery are great photo sharing websites. I generally use pbase.com.

 

Or you can go to www.mrphotoman.com - they even have software that allows you to "alter" your time slips...... so you can "look" faster....

 

wow i completely forgot about pbase.com i havent used them in years. i still like photobucket the best but any of those three are great sites to use to host pics

woody, you can create albums at the photo hosting sites, for example titled "transmission fix" and simply post a link to the album for all to view or you can past your [img] links that the host site provides for you and only show those photos. it is super super easy to use.

pbase is a great site. There is an annual fee, but that weeds out the freeloaders. There are some very talented amateurs and pros that post photos there.

CICCI is and always will be a CAR CLUB...I agree as a member of CICCI that some of our guys post too many invites on here. But new people are joining all the time, and should have the info about a club. If you don't like car clubs, don't join, but if don't know anything about, then don't comment on what you don't know. The Cash Cow provide monies for cook outs and hopefully, fund track events in the future. The organization of a club has provided avenues for discounts on car parts, accessories, cleaning supplies, and the list will grow. Bullshit is bullshit and I have put up with it before, but this time it is bullshit to its highest degree. CICCI and its members have done not a thing to you, so just like the political threads, move on and ignore it if you don't like it, but don't censor it either....time to move on, but an affiliation is the only way to have the clout to get Chrysler's attn to keep making parts and support this little car we all like, not some un-organizes free for all like this site is ran...just my 2 1/2 centos

as for people needing to know about the club, wouldnt it be as simple as scrolling down to view the cicci section on this site if they were interested instead of bombing them with ads in the off chance they were not aware they wanted to join lol? that sort of sounds like a union, get hired at a job then get muscled into joining the union because "it is for your own good" lmao.

You're right. I don't monitor the Political threads because I don't care much for them. However, I've closed more Political threads than any other. They are brought to my attention by other members. I'm not the moral police. But, if I come across any bashing, warnings will and have been sited, and at times members have been banned.

as for me, that is funny lol. i have offered a lot of help on this site if those that question that would like to search through my posts you will see. i am just not shy to speak up when someone pushes me or does something i feel is out of line (instead of crying to mods like a little infant) or when someone flat out lies about their car or what ever.

I am helpful to those that are reasonable and very unhelpful to those that are not reasonable. But I always try to do it with humor, some just choose not to see that and become offended.

Anyway, the reason most of us are on here is to share photos, mods and track times on our cars. To brag out our rides and share ideas and just chat in general about car guy stuff.

You guys would miss me if I would be taken away by men in black one night wearing officially licensed hats and floor mats to never be seen or heard from again lol (just kidding, lighten up!)
