From a networking perspective there is a lot more to it then just buying a 300 a month webserver and hosting that way. I manage a large global network as the day job. Its not the speed of the server here that killing cf.org, its the bandwidth and connectivity to the backend db.

Now given the other side of me says that with all the vendors and sponsorship money here, that should have or should be addressed with that income.

CICCI is a nice site, however I don't even remember the last time I was on it, checked it, or even posted a sale to it even though we are a paid vendor.

This site has merit, its members, and a decent amount of information that would be unfortunate to lose.
Great point of view.
