CICCI is a worhtwhile investment for those who want to join. it's up to them, CICCI, to convince the "freeloaders" to pony up for a better experience.
Frankly, I don't spend much time there myself. It has little to attract me that i can't find here. Change that ratio, but do it fairly by competeing, not by absorbing the Forum site.

Meanwhile the "Free subscription" guys can deal with all the ads and misc crap that floats in.

Photoman is right, Chrysler Crossfire are sold across the globe....why should international members be pushed to pay and join up when we would never receive any benefits other then being allowed to purchase floormats etc.

Mrphotoman is expressing his views and beliefs as I am, as you all are. Just because he isn't on the CICCI's side doesn't mean he should be warned, banned or even told off. He can say what he wants aslong as he's not bashing individuals, or there cars or swearing he's done no harm.

We live in a free world I wish people would start exercising it. Sure if you want to be able to purchase different Crossfire products join up to CICCI but if you want a laugh, good info, videos and photos I bet you the majority of that stuff will be found on crossfireforum.org hence why all of the CICCI members are still here...true?

We all have a common goal and love here that is cars and more specifically the Chrysler Crossfire.

If I get banned or warned for my thoughts and support of members then so be it, see ya'll on MBworld whats a man to do.

Idk believe it or not I am thinking about signing up for the floor mats, Even though I could probably just get them through Rudy, for some reason I believe in the cause. If it cost me dues to feel connected and to not lose touch, and or be part of a car group if it ever comes to that, I guess so be it. I am yet to join lets just say it isn't a priority, as of now I don't really see any benefit like previously stated.

My biggest fear is that 10 years from now my pride and joy that I wanted from day one, when i saw the commercial on TV, will have the same status as the fiero. Not that there is anything wrong with the fiero and they have a great following. More what I am getting at is sweet looking car that everyone wanted and enjoyed...... to lets take the frame, trash the car and turn it into a fake Ferrari.

 

To the point at hand, I have often wondered if anyone is actively administering this site. If so, is this person a Crossfire owner? I would be happy to set up a forum and administer it as a free site. I am sure the current owner would not want to cough up the existing database though. I do believe that our site should be owned, operated and maintained by people that have a passion and a stake hold in these wonderful cars. Maybe the current owner would want to turn this site over to one of us. Just a thought.

Since you have your own forum just add a SRT6 section to it. It will probably end up just like the SRT6 section on srtconnection.com, crossfirecommunity.net, srtforums.com. Everybody ends up coming here.

Nobody gets banned, no threads get closed, we get to bash each other all day until it's no more fun, companies like code 3 can come on here take all your money make you wait a year for parts and still get your business.

The reality is there are 2 forums here. One for all crossfires owners and the SRT6 forum.

You have the dragon, then you have all the tuning and racing GTG's. The sixes like the track, straight and curvy, the N/A have their own thing.
Yes cicci has mats with a cool logo (someone who's a member send me some for christmas ), but they won't make me go faster.

That's just it, cicci has it's purpose for those that are interested. It's not for everybody. I pay for magazines and that's about it. The rest is for mods.

Now if you charged to access the SRT6 forum, then you would see everyone in that section move to another forum.

If I remember correctly, eventually getting rid of this Forum was one of the concerns voiced by many on here when CICCI was re-invented. Those supporting CICCI were indicating that would not happen.

 

Heck I am so good at it I even tricked the people that were there the day I raced! i should work for a Hollywood special effects company if i can doctor both timeslips and videos so well lmao. Mabye I will finally get my turn with Angelina Jole! Whoo hoo!!!
