Feeler: Eurocharged come back! Tuning day in SF bay area...
Hi all,
I got my SRT6 literally a few weeks after LET was out here in the bay area in January for a tune day. Bummer.
I've noticed a few people have gotten new SRT6's that may be looking to get a tune. It's a long shot, but is there anyone here who needs a tune/re-tune? I'm #1 on the new tune list.
Also, has anyone had the custom tune done where they send you the tuning unit and remotely configure it from the dyno? If so, would this be the same as if they were doing it in person? Apparently they can do this remotely and I was told it's *not* the same as flashing a canned tune on there.

Definitely worth the investment over the canned tune, especially if you have modified your vehicle.

I’ve had all three versions, the generic flash tune, the remote kit adjustments and the dyno tune. For the remote kit adjustments, you will need to be able too relay the wanted changes. Once I had the dyno tune, it didn’t provide me anything additional over the remote kit adjustments, if it did it was very minuscule.
Zahanma is correct, kit it or dyno it > generic.
One more thing about the kit, THEY WILL HAVE TO SEND IT TOO YOU FIRST !
(A little personal frustration)

I had the flash at the January get together but didn't do the tune. Was hoping to get it during the CAA in St. Louis but I haven't heard back from them on it. So I'm down for a tune here in the Bay Area if I don't get one next month at the CAA.

I hear you my friend. We have been stuck playing the customs game as all our of new equipment was locked there on us. Try relaying italian to customs agents..mad frustration.

Opening this thread back up since it never really went through.
Once again, wondering how many people would be willing to travel to the bay area for new and existing dyno tunes. It's been about 9 months since eurocharged came out, hoping for a comeback tour. If not, I'll have to have it done remotely, but i'd obviously prefer an in person tune.
I just spoke with dinasrt and he said he'd be interested, so we have 2 new tunes. I guess we need 3 more to get them to come out, unless some other sort of arrangement could be made.
NEW TUNES:
mjgroves
dinasrt (dina, please confirm just so I know)
EXISTING TUNES:
n/a

Re: Feeler: Eurocharged come back! Tuning day in SF bay area...
Hope you are successful.....I am out of it until a few more parts are installed in the coupe...then...it's up in the air on who will get to tune it...I like in the car, down the track, tuning...not canned, not remote, so we will see what or who comes up with the right tune...good luck to you guys...
Re: Feeler: Eurocharged come back! Tuning day in SF bay area...
I just found out from Jerry that Eurocharged has a tuning shop in Daly City:
www.aspperformance.com
One thought is check to see if they have a dyno, then maybe you can do remote dyno tuning?
Maybe less people would be required then?

Re: Feeler: Eurocharged come back! Tuning day in SF bay area...
Just an update:
So I potentially found 5 new tunes to get them to come back. This list is preliminary, as a few people have expressed interest but have not confirmed one way or another.
NEW TUNES:
mjgroves (confirmed and paid a longggggg time ago)
dinasrt
doom239 (from mbworld forums)
kdd33 (x2) (apparently this lucky dog has both a C32 AMG and an SRT6 he would like tuned)
EXISTING TUNES:
N/A
All that's left is A) confirming everyone wants to go through with this B) getting your payments/deposits to eurocharged and C) organizing a date.
Step A in progress...
