I can't wait to see what it does for us in the 1.8 and 1.9 60' times.
Well I hope no one else suffers from this problem, but apparently the info I gave unitrax somehow got compromised and my credit card info was hijacked...got a call from Visa tonight about fraudulent cc charges in Anaheim within a day of Unitrax charging my deposit. Had to cancel my card, etc., etc. Very frustrating. I'm on the other coast, so it's not like I have made any other charges in Anaheim...No, I did not e-mail the info; I gave it over the phone...and yes, I will call them tomorrow, but it's still really irritating.

When I gave my cc # to Devin over the phone Friday,
he said the cards would be charged on Monday, today.
I don't know if it's happened.

Unitrax attempted to charge my card today, but due to the other fraudulent charges at around the same time, Visa declined all charges from that geographic area and contacted me, then immediately cancelled the card.
I don't see any charges against my credit card yet, either.
Don't know when, but I do expect that to happen soon, unless there
has been some problem...

thing in northeast North Carolina. You get that done, and I'm going to
make a special trip back home so I can stop by your place to see just how
fast it is. You're just a short drive from my Mom's place.

Coyote,
That's a plan. I can only imagine what the car would be like with a 55 SCV8 in it. 0-jail in about 3 seconds flat.
I know of a couple of backroads that would be great for testing it out to make sure Rudy got all the bugs worked out.
Is your mom on the outerbanks or is she further inland?

moving faster than the law would allow. I've always had a healthy respect
for NC State troopers and most of the local cops around there. So, I know
what you mean about 0 to jail in 3 seconds flat.
Actually, I'm originally from Va. Beach. Mom is currently in southern
Chesapeak. But, I've spent an awful lot of time in your neck of the woods.
We used to love running down hwy 168 into NC, and then tearing up the
back roads from Moyock down through Currituck, and finally hitting 34 to
run over to US 17 to head back North. Usually cut off that somewhere and
head east back towards 168.
I spent a lot of time hunting dear in those swamps as well. Have some
good stories about hanging with the cousins down around Knotts Island
during deer season.

Well, I got the call from Unitrax this morning, and my credit card has been
charged for the deposit. This is getting more real to me. I've always
thought the biggest lack in this car (other than a rack-n-pinion steering)
was the differential. Guess I better start saving for that next set of tires.

OK. Who's gonna put together a rack and pinion steering kit for this car?
Oh, the TRIFECTA - A Limited slip diff, SCV8, and rack and pinion steering. Now that is a performance enhancing package right there! I like it. We should starting working the rack and pinion now, so it is just starting to get rolling as the LSD is finishing up.

You are real familiar with my neck of the woods then. HWY 34 has a couple of great stretches on it where you can really stretch the cars legs a bit. And I do know what you mean about NC State Troopers.....we have a ton of them running up and down the county b/c of the beach traffic. Since the Governor put out the statement that they were really going to be cracking down on speeders this holiday season it looks like we grow state troopers around here as a winter crop. Every bush and field edge is full of em running radar - that is when they aren't just driving around running radar on people.
If you head up this way for the holidays shoot me an email.
Later,
KrzyFast
