Performance chip direct
has anyone heard of PCD(performance chip direct)they claim to have a chip for the crossfire that can save you 4-7 mpg and give you up to 60 hp gain for only $69.99. for N/A and supercharged models.
They work great. After you get that, you may want to add one of these electric turbo chargers for $29.99 Electric Intake Super Turbo/CHARGER ALL MAKES/MODEL +HP. With this setup, you should be able to outrun a Lambo.

Wouldn’t that be move of an electric supercharger, since it’s not exhaust driven? The theory is interesting and reminds me of the Dodge Charger boys of the late 50s who used an old Dodge Coupe, maybe a 46 model. They were running a 392 Hemi and had mounted a GMC supercharger in the trunk with piping up to the engine. The blower was driven by an auxiliary small engine, like a Briggs & Stratton. One of the advantages of this setup was they could begin the run with full blower output. The idea was that it would be "free" horse power, that is, it would cost the Hemi noting to run the blower (horse power) and get full benefit from the extra power.

At the drag strip you would need a suitable outlet of 400+ volts and a cable nearly a half mile long. The trailer with the blower, electric motor and drum for the cable on it would be a pain to drag around.
If you wanted to drive on the road the cable presents a huge problem, if they were to get popular the roads would be littered with cables and you would need a 4x4 to climb over them. Of course if you patented it, people would complain about tripping over your cable and you would be sued every day, the cost of the cable and picking it up all the time would negate the time saved getting anywhere fast as you would have to keep going back to pick up your cable and finding somewhere else to plug it in.
These "performance chips" are just resistors for a computers electrical current. From what I read in the past, they trick your ecu into thinking the air is colder, thus more dense. The ecu then compensates by delivering more fuel. More fuel means bigger bangs in the cylinder which means more power.
I also read that they wreak havoc on the electrical circuit.
In the end, they are not worth it.
