Sounds like the contacts stuck together.

If I could get folks to send me their bad RCM's I could start switching out the Air Pump relay with other relays on the RCM.
Surely the simple and cheapest way to fix these is to change the relay. A little unsolder tape, take out the faulty one and put in a new relay.
Switching relays from one to another means that new or re-cycled RCM's are required.
Relays cost around $10 to $15 each generally and they are made to standards so they are interchangeable.

DJ...I'm having a new garage door installed, so I have to have the pair running, but as soon as the door is up, and they are back in...I am going to pull both RCM's...take a look at them....may just send them both for your repair...good time to do it...

Anyone got a part number and source on a replacement relay we can use?

I'm sure you are right. I pulled the RCM out of my other SRT-6 & put in it and cured the problem. There is also a smell of power steering fluid or tranny fluid since I bought it, then the drivers heated seat quit working yesterday. So I decided to use my Maxi-Care $100 deductable warranty & get a 3 for 1 deal, I had Chrysler order the bottom seat cover & RCM yesterday. I wanted to pull the old RCM apart to look at it, but they told me not to or it could void my warranty.

I was glad the heated seat quit working yesterday. Jeff is a pretty good size guy and the seat bottom was wore real bad from him getting in & out. Plus I don't have to take the belly pan off to see where the fluid smell is coming from.
