I'd like to build a high reving supercharged 340 GT 'Vert some day. I have 4 cars that need motors right now so its way, way down the priority list

Take care
Given how easily you could drop a small block in there, given how easy it is to buy whatever you want to make that small block into a monster motor, trans options, etc., it would seem using an SRT6 motor would be much more trouble than it's worth.
Why not drop in an SRT8 motor from a Grand Cherokee or Challenger?

Personally I haven't been impressed with the SRT-8 in the Charger!
I dought it would be anymore impressive in a Dodge Dart.
I too say drop in a small block maybe a Built from scratch 340?
No electronics to speak of and NO SMOGGGGG GARBAGE!

Brings back so many memories ... acceleration you can time with a calendar ... the looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong throw Hurst shifter, the rattly trim...
Hi i was hoping someone might have dropped a srt6 in a old doge dart 1969 as i live in Australia i was looking on ebay and there is a AMG 3.2 L motor.Forsale at $ 3800 buy it now as this is the same motor as the srt6 and it might be something different than a v8 srt8. as the srt6 have 330 horse power. thanks paul.....
It will work, you will need standalone engine management (I would use megasquirt 3), a clutchless supercharger pulley, custom motor mounts and at the very least an adapter bellhousing for the transmission. It would definately be different in a good way. I think with welding and basic computer skills and a will to learn it can be done at home.. It can definately 100% be done with a big enough bank account.
