Default tuning question

maybe a dumb question but will a eurocharged tune void your warranty? Can they even tell if its been tuned? Wondering for my srt6 and my friends cls550

Though I am un-sure of the actual wording, in a nut shell NO, there is no reason for them to tell if the tune has been altered.
Unless they were to check on perimeters they would not be able to see the changes. Way to complicated for a dealer that actually doesn't want to spend time on that car anyway
Remember don't ask don't tell...

Not a dumb question at all...

I waited until I spoke with Eurocharged for that exact same reason.

As said above, no dealer will know if you have the tune on the car. They will however, erase the tune each time you take it in for warranty work and they update the ecu. You will need a port to usb cable like the one EC sells to re-tune your car each time (takes about 10 minutes.)

Totally not so!
It would be VERY VERY rare for a dealer to reflash an ECU.
I have taken both my Limited and the SRT in for warrenty work both having custom ECU programs and niether have ever been reflashed.
ALSO you do not need to reflash your own with any cable if you feel uncomfortable you can send it back in and have the custom tuner reflash it for you, free of charge.
Don't worry they (the dealer) will not ever notice or screw you up.
Mike

You are ok. I had a tune, pulley, intake and aftermarket muffler when my CPU died and they replaced it no charge under warranty.
