Derek (HDDP) had a 6MT on a true track car with the SRT drivetrain several years ago, and from what I read, it seemed to stand up, but he went through hell (read: $$$$) getting everything working properly and had to do a standalone management system...

The 6mt and scate board do nothing for me. Get the limited rear gears figured for the SRT and you will have my money spent.

I know this is an old thread but does the SRT6 come prewired for the NA spoiler?

Is there some reason that someone couldn't just answer the damned question that started this thread instead of all the hyperbole and BS? He asked a simple question, about whether or not the wiring was in place on the SRT6 to accommodate the motor and switch for a NA spoiler, after stating his preference, and everyone took off on some tangent and never answered the question. I want to get rid of that butt ugly wing also, and a smaller spoiler seems to work well on the new Porsches, so I'll take my chances with the aerodynamics of the NA spoiler, along with less drag. It's not often that any of us will be running 150 mph anyway, but if I do I'll draw my own conclusions. By the way I ran my NA car wide open, indicating close to 150 mph, and it was rock solid stable, so I tend to agree with the Chrysler engineer. I also have an affinity for engineers, because I are one. Some of us don't like that funky looking after thought on the back of our cars because it screws up the flowing lines of the car. Enough said! Is the wiring there or not? I don't need a lecture on aerodynamics. Thank you!

Second question. If the wiring is in place, will the ECM in the SRT6 control the NA spoiler or do you have to control it manually with the switch? Thanks again.

No the wiring is not there. The BCM from the SRT does not have the circuitry to accommodate the wing motor. Also the wiring from the front to back in the wiring harness is not there on the srt.

You may have missed the early post that mentioned that this had already been done. Older members here are aware of it and felt no need to mention it again, other than a few comments which you probably missed as well.

If any of you want to sell your SRT spoiler, I would be interested in buying. Call me at 206 240 3738. Any color, but looking for blue one. Thanks.

Unless I'm overlooking something, according to my parts catalog, the BCM is the same for all Crossfires.

FUBU is your guy.... Aero is the same on both spoilers. As far as who likes what, well you can have yours, I like mine.
