Got a Tune - now airbag light is on
Earlier this afternoon I got a tune through eurocharged. I had a few issues with my laptop, but I believe everything got installed correctly. Unfortunately my battery was low and I couldn't get it to start. I let it charge for the last six hours and it started up fine. But I noticed the airbag light(steering wheel right?) was on. Did I mess something up or is there something i can do to fix it?
Could it be the BAS/ESP light? That light will come on with a low battery or after a disconnected battery. If so, start the engine, rotate steering wheel lock to lock and it usually goes out.
If it is steering wheel indicator, maybe your telescoping column is not locked.

The tune is working though. WOW. took it around the block.
Another save by James.....lol..... You were just too excited about that go fast tune....that you pulled the steering wheel loose on the first passssss........lol
yep... been there, done that. I was holding onto the steering wheel too much like a handle bar. When fully extended it still pulls out about 1/2", spring loaded. Now I let the seat back handle the extra g's!
Don't feel bad, I had the same scare when I installed my shift paddles... I did a quick search and saw a mention that there is a warning light if you don't lock the telescoping steering wheel in-place. That was it. Love all the help on these forums!
