Default Diagnose these noises/ailments! Sigh...

And suggest a fix:

Supercharged power randomly cuts out?
Worn out/bad OEM intercooler right? Which one is currently the go-to replacement?

When I'm coming to a stop there is a dutdutdutdut noise from the front of the car somewhere. Too slow to be valves taping, also doesn't do it in neutral and actually seems to increase in speed as the car slows down until stopping when the car stops.

On a 5 hour trip that I made in 3:45 it felt like my car would randomly stumble. Unnerving at 100mph. It was like the transmission stopped going and then caught itself again.

Sometimes when I turn left or right from a slow speed/stop there is a pop from the front end somewhere. Not always though.

Should the belt be squeaking at 40k miles/7 years? How much/hard is this to replace?

I want to love this car but these things are really getting on my nerves. Your thoughts are appreciated!

Replace your IC pump and serpentine belt. Both are cheap and easy fixes. Needswings has both for good prices. There are good DIY threads on here. The supercharger cutting in/out might feel like the transmission acting strange. Look over your pulleys while you change the belt, you might find the culprit for the pulsing sound. Good luck!

Ic pump oem Bosch runs about $150. The serpentine belt is around $40.Both can be do it yourself. There are detailed instructions int the Tech part of this site. The cutting out I am not sure what that is.

Thanks, ordering a new Bosch from Needs Wings I suppose. But it looks like the one that's on there is a Bosch already?

Yes it is.... they wear out.... you can use the Johnson CM30 pump also, or the Ford Lightning pump.....they require a little 'fitting' but are an easy DIY..... the Bosch is just plug and play and will be fine....

Fine for another 30k miles or did they fix them so they last?

the only permanent thing on these cars is the grin. everything will wear out at some point. will you still have the car after 30k? if you do the cost is minimal for another pump
