Something about after 30 cranks with no start, the Security system thinks it a robbery, and shuts it down (for good).
I tried finding the thread, but came up short...
This is where I first caught wind of it..

The guys at Chrysler are being very helpful but haven't come across this problem before. They are being patient with me and have let me keep my car in their workshop whilst i try and find the parts. But after 3 full days searching breakers etc I'm starting to lose hope.
The problem I'm having is trying to find someone with a manual transmission.
I'm running out of options fast.

SHE RUNS!!!
To give everyone cliff notes, here is the timeline of the fiasco:
So, after one week and lots of worrying, it was the CPS (crank) that had failed. Yes, we replaced that with Bosch as well.
So, the car lives, glory to God!!!
Steve was an immense help in all of this as well. I owe him a new CPS and a 24-pack of anything he wants...
To give everyone cliff notes, here is the timeline of the fiasco:
- Started, ran rough. Each time the car was started after initial sensor failure, idled extremely rough. Tried this 4 times and dove into the repair.
- Changed CPS (cam) with brand new Beck-Arnley unit. Went from rough idle to no start.
- Checked RCM... no damage
- Changed CPS (crank). Would crank all day long, but no start.
- Scratched heads and assumed the worst for three days.
- Today, changed the front CPS from the Beck Arnley unit back to the OEM Bosch unit. Reset battery for ten minutes. VROOOM!!!!

^^^that's the camshaft position sensor we reinstalled that got the car running again... Perhaps Steve can post the p/n of the "crank" CPS we took out... the one we put in was identical

The above Bosch # is for the SRT6.
Bosch #0261210170 for the na Crossfire although it says this item also replaces Bosch # 0 261 210 171 (0261210171) so they may be interchangeable anyway.
I ordered mine here

I had to do the battery disconnect to reset my ECU this morning too..... got a CEL last night and figured it was another P0505 Ideal air error so I drove home. This morning when I fired up the car the idle was at 1500+.... the error code was P0505 and P0507 Idle RPM too high... disconnecting the battery for more than 30 minutes cleared it up.....
Fantastic! I felt your pain and am glad to hear that the car is back up and running. Next time you make it down to Atlanta if you need a Star/DAS I can hook you up.
I am happy to report that my car is back to 100%. Soft throttle response was the MAP sensor going bad. SC noise was a bad bearing (bad from the factory).
