Default where can I pickup some tirefit supplies? - SLK32

I'm sure if I ask Benz here, it'd be astronomical.

But my tirefit juice bottle is missing in this new (2nd hand vehicle) and I need to get some.
It says you attach it to the pump and the pump pumps it through the valve...yes?

Any links for purchase - althought I'm not sure if they can ship this stuff internationally though...hmmm...

BTW - noticed you X-fire guys run a different rim/tyre setup to the SLK32...
FRONT TIRES 225/40ZR18
REAR TIRES 255/35ZR19

Whereas SLK's run 17's all 'round
FRONT TIRES 225/45ZR17
REAR TIRES 245/40ZR17

they must have reset the Odometer ratio on the SRT for the bigger circumference - probably changes the whole nature of the car and grip.

I have noticed the suspension on the R170 SLK32 with 17's is a lot more "spongier" than it's sister R170 SLK230 with 17's.

I think the concensus on this forum is to carry just the pump and a tubeless tire repair kit.
It has been discussed that the goop bottle will work in an emergency, but you will have to soon replace that tire, as the goop makes it impossible to balance thereafter....

In case you aren't familiar, the tubeless tire repair consists of a T handle, some rubber plug strips, a file thing for roughing up the hole, and some rubber glue. ( also a good idea to have a knife or some wire cutters to remove the external excess plug.

That's my opinion, others are welcome to disagree .......

On the contrary, I have used the tire plug kits for years. Those are the little thick sticky rubber sticks (like a twillizer) that you use a tool to force into the hole. The kit usually has the 'file' tool in with it. The 'file' tool is just a handle and file like shaft that roughens the hole out for the glue to make a good seal on. The glue is self contained and gets everywhere when you force it into the hole with the other tool thats included. Those kits work great, I had 7 plugs in my old 02 camaro Z rated goodyear when I replaced them two years ago. Never a bit of leakage. I carry a kit in each of my three cars for when need to fix-a-flat. Yes, use the pump and get this glue-stick repair kit, it'll save you bunches when you are able to fix it yourself and get back on the road. Alaxfire is correct, if you use the goop on the tire you'll have to replace the tire, tpms, and they will have to clean the rim off real good to get you back on the road.

Don't put the green goop in your tire. It is not worth the problems it creates. If you do happen to put it in make sure you tell your tire shop as it can serious problems.

Best thing to do is use an air pump to get home or to the shop. If that does not suffice tow it to the tire shop.

As a side note guys.. I learned the hard way (1/2" dia x 5" long bolt through the rear tire AND wheel) it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a Mercedes OEM rim and tire stored in the garage. Even if you only ruined a tire.. seems most places have to order in the 19" ones unless you get lucky and find a used.
