Just came up on 70,000 miles, suggestions?
Hi I just came up on 70,000 miles on my 2005 SRT-6.. and I was wondering what I need to do mechanics wise? Get my transmission fluids changed? Get my tires rotated?.. Jk about that one haha, but seriously.. let me know please, and thank you
My N/A has 73,000 on it. I just did Steering Stabilizer, Front Pads, Belt, Coolant Flush, -10C mod all as preventive measures, and NOW the EGR has failed.
I have always believed in a fluid and filter change for automatics at 50,000 or so - EVERY 50,000 or so.
But that's just me.

Have you swapped out the cabin filter and it doesn't hurt to check on the intake filters. If you haven't done the steering stabilizer bar it's a good time to do it. ($40 I think)
I did my tranny yesterday 80k miles - uggly and some particles in the sump to boot....
will be changing again I think in another few thousand - to be sure.
8Qrts of MB fluid cost me $120.
If you're pretty handy and have a torque wrench - pretty easy - might also be worth changing the pin connector plug - they are prone to eventually leak on the 5 speed boxes. Plug cost $10 but from what I gather you only need the o-rings
Both Coolants - Supercharger +Main Engine Coolant (different)
Bleed Brakes (every 2-3yrs)
Change Engine Oil
Change Supercharger Oil (the smelly one apparently)
Engine Air Filters
Cabin Filter
I'd probably even do plugs.....and clean/check injectors + fuel rail and filter
Check both belts
I have this list - 'cause it's my list.

But what do I know? Perhaps the SRT6 has 2 belts, my N/A has only 1 .......
By putting the tires on the other rim across from it from the side, (just moving it keeping the tread in the same direction, no flipping the tires over) your putting the inner track to the outer track for a even wear. You cant just swap the tires on the rims their on to the other side, because the tires are unidirectional and it would put the tread backwards. Or just do what I do and get a lifetime alignment and have it aligned all the time. I think I paid my Firestone dealer 50 bucks for one. The other is just an option..:-)
