As far as everything else you've mentioned -- grow up. Nobody cares. The turbo thread would be much more tidy if it lacked the henpicking you're giving bjames on a daily basis. Quite interesting that you've had "disagreements" with multiple people in that thread that really know their stuff. How dare we question your logic and reasoning...

Said the woman with five ex husbands -- "It was all their fault".
Actually was genuine concern for you and yours well being with that wreck. I just used that as a close to home reference for how things change and stockpiling 10 filters seems just a wee bit excessive in order to pay more than you can buy them elsewhere. Yeah james really knows what he's talking about.. guess I should just ignore the user that was just there.. surely his insight is misguided.

Anyone that goes against the grain of the forum gods gets shunned.. that I have learned .. I very much have considered myself a lone wolf throughout life.. so ask me how much your "pack" acceptance rates in my books. I will continue to sand across the grain. Trust me on this one. Use boiler ups advice.. "ignore"... please.

Those who truly show concern about something don't later use the episode as a gaff. Under any circumstances, no matter how much you may *think* it proves your point.

Forum "gods"? Who would you include in that list you created all by your lonesome?

This forum is filled with knowledgeable people, post-counts and tenure don't dictate the respect given. It's the quality and type of info presented, and personal relationships that matter. Yes, this means there are members here that are generally received well, and more trustworthy than others. Part of life.

While I do understand the point Miata was trying to make (stockpiling a ton of parts for a car that could be gone in one bad instant), I have to say that the wording used to express the point was not chosen well at all.

I am one of those who will likely only use 1 oil filter a year. I am also one of those trying to squeeze every penny to get the most out of it, mostly to save the dimes for bigger/better things. I have no problem spending the dough to buy say an intake from NW when/if the time comes. Even better if there is a sale on, BUT I will definitely spend $8.90 on an oil filter over $12 any day and all day. Just doesnt make sense to overpay for anything, ever. I dont need a dozen filters laying around with the rest of the clutter anyway.

Just my thoughts. Flame away…

Well I got jumped on for daring to say the amp has venting.. I got jumped on for offering a product which I didn't offer anything other than my experience with mounting ... and now I get jumped on for offering a better price option. It's getting old and it's by the same little circle of buddies. I do have a tendency to bite back when someone full of it wants to tell me how wrong I am.

And trust me.. I could drive a nail a whole lot deeper if I wanted to go there..

How exactly do you define "brotherhood"? Pray tell.

As for your last statement, by all means, don't hold back. You may think of it as driving a nail, but everyone else will view it as you simply digging a deeper hole. It says a lot about a person's character when they're vindictive for no good reason.

If you want to save $3 on a filter, knock yourself out dude. This is an economy car, after all.
