Good point. You may want to contact the seller and ask if they got the top replacement warranty letter from Chrysler.

And yeah I've been 3/4 keeping up with all the top bs lately.. and has been a little bit of a concern since planning to acquire one. Even if "assured" it's not loose at all right now, doesn't mean it couldn't be a different story next month. Wonder if Chrysler will claim it doesn't get hot enough to be an issue in New Mexico..
Not quite feeling the $22,000 they want so we'll just see where it gets to. Noted it's for sale locally also.

 

Did you see my "Alabaster Coupe for sale thread"? Me either.. LOL. She'll continue duties as my daily driver. I stated several times how I love driving it, but hate seeing the miles click off on her, maybe this way I can feel a little better with a weekend - fair weather cruiser too..

 

Yup, mine showed absolutely NO signs of seperation, then one day it just fell out ! The glue around the perimeter just let go all at once. 7800 miles garage kept. I think 22k is a bit strong for one with nearly 30000 mls....................

 

That type of deal is why "Looks great" right now doesn't mean a whole lot. Did toss them an email and inquire on it though. We're not "desperate" to find one, even though this one fits exactly what we are looking for I'm not going to overpay for it. I'm feeling 19 1/2 maybe 20K. Will just keep up with it and see where it gets to, have a feeling this won't be the last listing on Ebay unless they swing a deal locally.

 

Still too high I think, I was asking $20k for mine with 7800 mls, until the rear window farce. Now it will cost me $2k to fix it correctly, so I'm keeping it, as I would effectively have to let it go for $17-18k ....which is not happening ......

We contacted Chrysler Dealer, no recalls on this vehicle. They had
no knowledge of issues regarding the top is good shape.

Ended at $15,600 .. reserve not met. Now to see if it gets lowered and listed again..

 

easier to just email him with your best offer and see of he bites.
