HELP ASAP I'M STRANDED!!! My car stalled
Check engine light didn't come on till a day after the problem started but that also turned off to once we replaced the sensor
There were are no dealers where you are? Did Autozone tell you the codes?! It could literally be any number of things... the Code will narrow our assumptions. Could also be a MAF sensor... these are also a known problem and can cause nearly the same symptoms as you described. Once again stick with a O.E.M. or Bosch part or you'll be replacing them frequently.
I took it to autozone in El Paso they said it was the crank shaft thing a few recommended was coming up when plugged in as not working bought the part ( they only had one kind, dura last) took it to a mechanic who out it in boat things together were like 100. Now the check engine ligh is off but car is still having same symptoms any suggestions?

I agree, I think at this point we should be trying to get her in touch with someone close to where she is who is knowledgeable and can actually go and help troubleshoot/fix the problem.

This is why I travel with a Bosch CPS in the trunk. I've never used it in 40,000 miles, but my day is coming !
We have heard it here before, put a CPS in and it still acts up, so people spend a lot of $ only to find, days later, that a Bosch CPS fixes it.
Again, I could be wrong and Miata's idea about testing to see of fuel pressure is there is a good idea. I wish I was there to look at it!
Tighd1 would be a good guy to have look at it. He's down south past Chandler somewhere.

Does anyone know where I can find a Bosch cps to purchase ASAP?
Alicia, ill be in Oceanside tomorrow does he know where I can purchase a Bosch? I really need it ASAP today the car took forever to start in getting worried
Everyone claims only Bosch. Well I'll agree it is the "ideal" replacement, but I'm telling you the one from Advanced Auto has worked flawless for a year now WITH a lifetime warranty that you won't get with a Bosch.
ANYONE had a bad one from them?
ANYONE had a bad one from them?
MissSilky - report from Oceanside is that there is no Bosch part available in Oceanside. Mercedes dealer said that there is a part there, but he does not know if it is Bosch. (!?) I am told that inquiry went to all sources - but it is not over yet. Found a Bosch part number on the forum and Oceanside inquiries are continuing . Right now I think we need the CA contingent to check in with Bosch product availability - wherever - to get you stabilized.
I am sending best wishes for a resolution to this............ Alicia
