2006 White SRT6 roadster?
My father-in-law has a 2006 White Crossfire Roadster... so he says.
So, over the holidays I was talking with my father-in-law and he mentioned he was going to sell his Crossfire. I said well you know your daughter loves that car and there is some odd connection she has had to it ever since her mother passed away. So before you sell it let me know and if I have the cash I will just buy it for her. Thats when the conversation became interesting (unbeknownst to me at the time).
I never really had any interest in the Crossfire, I love Mopars... from the 60-70's but a but a mid auts, girly chrysler, no thanks... that is until I drove it, holy hell that thing is a blast to drive!!!
Back to the conversation with my F-I-L. He told me hes been receiving hand written letters from a couple dealers that know he has it, each one offering him between $19k - $21K for it, sight unseen. I asked why (I figured it to be worth 12-15k only because I know how meticulous he is and it still looks showroom new). He said: "No idea, maybe because its rare color combination, I've never seen another one like it. Also because it's some sort of Mercedes drivetrain package? I really dont know."
This is what I know to be true:
What he told me:
That said,
Anyone have any idea what this thing could be?
Thanks for any input, I don't really want to pay $19K for this thing but if its some sort of rare edition of very few ever made... then maybe. Only downside would be my wife will never let me sell it and she will want it for her daily driver.

This is what I know to be true:
- Roadster
- White
- White leather interior
- Supercharger
- No SRT6 badging
What he told me:
- 2006 (he doesn't forget much)
- "Mercedes package" (can only assume hes referring to the AMG that the SRT6 is based off of)
- He is the second owner, purchased from a dealer in 09 (I think)
That said,
- I can not find any 2006 Crossfires in white, roadster or coupe.
- I guess he could be wrong and its a 2005... but aren't all the Supercharged ones in 05 badged with SRT6?
- I don't see any SRT6 without badging
Anyone have any idea what this thing could be?

my money is on a debadged repaint. SRT6' s also have logo on instrument cluster face, seat head restraints and steering wheel has light grey stitching.....what's the VIN?

I dont have the VIN# and the car is at his vacation home so I cant get it either. That would have been helpful but I really didn't think it was anything special/odd when I was there. I fact not until last night when I started looking for comparables did I find it to be an oddball.
It ain't no SRT and has no supercharger if there is not a big, fixed spoiler wing on the back, SRT logo on speedo (and tach?), seats and hatchgate.
And SRTs were not made in white in ANY year.
Likely, it is a limited.
Also, these cars are not selling well right now, I'd bet he has no such letters of offer.

I'm not arguing with you by any means, but why would the dealers who know he has it want it so bad if it's just a Limited?
Guess I just need to wait and get the VIN#
That would make sense and that is what got me here to you guys.... It has none of those things except the supercharger! It has a supercharger, I saw it with my own eyes. I also drove it, and years ago I drove a non sc edition too, was not impressed. This one is impressive to drive.

These are cash offers. One offered to send a car carrier with a cashiers check so he didn't have to leave the house.
There are 3 white srt-6 out there. 1 in US, 1 in Kuala Lumpur and mine in Sweden. At least 2 of these 3 have been painted. Kuala L. may be a plastidip or wrap. UK had a white wrap for short while. A roadster. It is now camoe green
Just take some pics, get the VIN# and pray it is a SRT-6. If it is, please add it to the VIN# gallery on srt-6.com along with vin# list on this forum.

Pray it's an SRT-6? I'd go with an alabaster roadster with vanilla interior and Kleeman superchager upgrade any day.. You would definitely have something special.
Whatever floats anyones boat. It was an expression. Pray for any car u would like it to be. Preferably I wish it was a white 458 spider.
