Transmission leak
I've got about 3,000 miles on my 05 SRT-6. HAven't beat it to **** or anything, but an o-ring started leaking, left 1st just one drop on the floor of my garage. Then nothing for a week, then 2 or 3 drops, then I went out of town and came back to a big puddle... Dealer syas there is a TSB for this transmission, and they have seen it with the mercedes as well. I couldn't find a TSB at alldata for this...Anyone else with a similar experiense???

i don't have a srt but do have limited coupe. sensor on left side leaked and waited 1 1/2 weeks for part from germany. dealer sais it's very common. if so why don't they correct it. also said i can drive it and won't hurt it. 8 months old 4000 miles on it. i don't think so. good luck
Just came from the dealer. Have transmission leak and it was found to be an o ring where the sending unit wiring enters the transmission. Parts are ordered and not leaking bad enough to prevent me from driving the car. It first showed up on the garage floor (just a spot the size of a half dollar) no puddle.
Mine started as a dime sized spot, as I mentioned in my 1st post. The dealer did also say it was the o-ring. No trouble since the o-ring was replaced. I'd say you just watch the leak, as it could get worse,. Mine went for the dime to the puddle over a period of 2 weeks or so. Good Luck!
Transmission leak fixed. Dealer replaced an 0 ring where wiring harness enters transmission. Quick fix; had car for 3 hrs and also swapped out radio with new one with brighter LCD. Car has 3500 miles and only problem that surfaced so far.
The infamous "O" Ring problem has caught up to me. My Five Star Dealer had the part in stock and had me in and out in less than 2 hours. This problem happens with the 300 and 300C, the Service Manager had the foresight to order a few for the Xfire to have on hand just in case.
