just pull the clutch with heat, then align the pulley with the pin holes and tap the new pulley with soft strikes. I used a 1 inch thick rubber with small mallet. then install the pins carefully with the oem washer. then I use 2 drops of loctite 641. You should need the tune for a smooth idle

Srt6prbk,

What tuner did you go with? I have a 62mm tune from eurocharged, idle is fine but only have 1/4 throttle and a p0105 map code. I hope they can retune for this clutchless pulley if not looking for recommendations on tuner.

try this one https://vtech.ge/en/
vtech georgia they are the one that fabricate the fixed pulley for m112k
you should wire a relay with an led stripe in the pillar or any other setup, so it tells you if your ecu send signal of supercharger disengagment for protection
and put a 1/4 spacer on the bolt between the smog tube and power steering reservoir, so the oem pulley washer doesnt scrap the aluminum tubes

Gonna reach out to vtech, their tunes have great reviews from the c32s. Thanks for the resistor tip. I pulled my iat sensor from the y, and bad news is its covered in coolant. Intercooler is on order.

thats a dayco 89535 but doesnt fit plug and play. had to insert a socket in the bearing and cut it to match the distance necessary for the belt

I would keep a VERY close eye on that idler. Given the pulley's small diameter, the bearing speed is likely to be higher than it is rated for. If/when it fails, it could do slight to moderate damage to the front casting of the supercharger.

that pulley uses a ntn bearing rated at over 18,000rpm , it even was used in sl65amg 6.0v12 and SLR Mclaren 2009 . and its made by INA which is oem for mercedes. INA part number 6422001070 . If approved for McLaren then should be no problem on srt6. Mine has been running for years, still as new.

Thanks for the added details.
It is possible that it is the best suited pulley for this application, but being suitable for SL65 and SLR McLaren, does not necessarily guarantee that it is bulletproof in all applications. Glad that it is trouble-free on your car, but still I would keep an eye (or ear) on it. Pulleys of this size (often using a 6203 bearing which is rated as low as 12,000 RPM) can run into trouble when they are smaller than 74mm. Your Pulley will be spinning at 17000 RPM as you get to max power, so I hope that 18,000 number is right : ) AND, this is if you are using a stock crank pulley, if some one is running "stacked" they will see over 19,000RPM on this pulley's bearing before reaching max power ...

So, it may seem like I raised the alarm unnecessarily, but this is a 55mm and the 60mm that ASP uses in their pulley kits that they sell through various vendors for this platform (with larger crank pulleys, so they are naturally subject to higher RPMs) RARELY last more than 30,000 miles . When it fails, it always leaves you stranded and occasionally damages the boss of the water pump where it mounts. ...

I never meant to suggest that this is a bad choice, on the contrary, it seems like the best available solution short of having custom pulleys made (like I used to do when I made/sold the Belt wrap kits for this platform before they became too expensive to produce). However, it wouldn't hurt to listen to the pulley every once in a while just to be safe.

This pulley seems like a great deal. I am going to get one or 2 and add them them to the collection. Can you post a link to the bearing spec?

Cheers,
Chris

thats a NTN 6203 18,000 rpm bearing same as the rear rotors on supercharger but with rubber seal, mine went 120,000 miles before I change them. being suitable for SLR mclaren and sl65 means, that pulley withstands engines acceleration with more than 600 in torque for years, but anyone with larger crank pulley overdriving all bearings should check bearings periodically expecting shortened bearing life, but mine is stock crank.

that's a good bearing. Many 6203 bearings only have a 12,000 rating (when greased - higher rating in oil of course).
