going to run some Mickey Thomsons at the track. At least that is the plan. That and the progressive nitrous controller and some good conditions and luck and it will stick. Not planning on spraying in first at all then progressive after that ramping up and not spraying during shifts.

yes. I have some rubbing issues but only under extreme conditions. The rears rub the well too when I hit a big swell in the road.
suprisingly I have 285 Michelins on the back and they rub more than the 295 Toyos I had on it last set.
The shock rub as best I can tell is only at full lock in reverse.

Michelins are known for running about 10mm wider than other brands of the same size. I run various versions of supersports and this has been my experience.

I don't have a tire rubbing, your editing is a little off... stryfox has the rubbing issue.
Re: SRT6 Nitrous revisited looking for experienced opinions
To clarify if you look at the top right of the picture with the front rotor you can see where the tire rubs in reverse with wheel at full lock.
the rub in the shock is from the spindle. I can’t be the only one who drives hard enough for that to contact.

Next step. Still waiting on Holley NOS parts. I can only assume they are in the middle of the ocean somewhere. Lol
as stated above I installed an sl55 fuel pump.
the thought of running lean is still nagging me. I went ahead and ordered from Needswings a fuel pressure regulator kit and some 550 injectors.
I figured this way I will have more options when the setup is done and I put it on the dyno.
I may not need it but this way there is more head room to tune with.
Re: SRT6 Nitrous revisited looking for experienced opinions
Ok if anyone wants to chime in.
considering Needswings tweeked manifolds with crossovers or his big manifolds with crossover.
I did a bunch of searching and read everything I could find. Since I’m going with a wet nos kit would theses manifolds be beneficial to reduce et times?
I understand they will lover boost pressure but not sure how that works with nitrous filling the cylinders. Would extra volume be advantageous and see a noticeable gain in this situation?
thanks for any input.
Re: SRT6 Nitrous revisited looking for experienced opinions
Any time you can improve flow, it helps. I am having NW build a similar set for my V8 car, but TBH, I have trouble seeing how they help so drastically. People who have them swear that they do magic. I can't see a downside, apart from cost. I do know that similar strategies help on other engines/platforms.
Re: SRT6 Nitrous revisited looking for experienced opinions
After a lot of reading. It amazes me how much information is here if you take the time to look for it.
I have a set of tweaked manifolds with crossovers in the works from Needswings.
when they come I’ll install them and the 550 injectors when my eurocharged dyno date is scheduled.

I honestly don’t know for sure. With the cost of a remote dyno tune I figure it’s better to have them for more fuel if needed. They were not expensive in the big picture. Plus they are new compared to my almost 20 year old ones in the car.
Re: SRT6 Nitrous revisited looking for experienced opinions
Slight change in direction. Going to use v-tech for a tune to get it close then run it on the dyno and have it dialed in with them. Just waiting on some parts from rob to finishing the mechanical end.
