It is making the most horrible metallic / mechanical clanking sound. Like forks in a blender.
I was wondering if someone could help me identify what pulley this is.
The car has a custom tune on it, which I don't want to re-do, so I'm looking for a similar (but better) replacement. I'm guessing it is a Eurocharged unit?
It does.
The previous owner did have a Eurocharge tune. And on the receipt I found it says "Eurocharged Supercharger Pulley" But no details or part #'s.
What are my alternatives as the car is dead in the water?
Your options are to buy a oem pulley and go larger crank pulley, otherwise you'll have to buy another aftermarket pulley of the same size to replace the one that broke. Good thing you had a scattershield, if you didnt that pulley would have shredded other lines. If you replace that pulley with another aftermarket pulley it will eventually fail in the same matter.
Sounds like the bearing has gone if its making noises....
I've got a 62mm EC here in oz - which with the USD exchange rate ATM may be an option. 144743919615
Looks similar - USD35 bucks cheaper if we can do it outside ebay
not sure but ......I might also be able to get my hands on my OEM stock 74mm pulley+bearing here - I sold it to a guy - not sure if he still needs it or not.
or
I might also be able to get my hands on a 178mm crank pulley+water pump pulley (ASP?) - but not sure.
I've been running the trusty stainless 65mm Code3 for 10 years - no tune.

So you're saying that all aftermarket pulleys will fail and the only reliable ones are the OEM? Not trying to be smart, just to understand.

Hello,
The link you included, is that for the steel or stainless steel pulley? I've heard bad things about the aluminum ones.
What about this Code 3 you have?

Michael, I said at the time these pulleys started to be sold by vendors that they would fail, poor designs that copied features that were in the OEM pulleys but weakened the thinner wall in the newer smaller diameter pulleys. Poor material choice for the pulleys and the so-called spring material and in some early cases a bearing that was too large. Nobody listened to or chose to ignore my comments.
It is noticeable that the number of pulleys offered these days are few and far between.
At the time a chance of a quick buck made the sellers eyes light up.
Even the OEM SC pulley will fail at some point due to constant stress on the springs, no metal can take that constant flexing and last, but probably on average it will outlast the car due to the loss of the cars in accidents.
My suggestion is to go with an OEM pulley. Some failures of these after market pulleys have caused a lot of damage, consider yourself lucky in that respect.
I've zoomed in on the original images and it appears as though the pulley is pouched
At least that what I see in the image, it most likely failed and applied force to the ring, causing the bolt to come away.

I am in agreement with everything.
I believe The pulley failed as can be seen in the lightened image.
Disassembly is the next step to see what other damage it did when it acted like a crazed weed wacker with metal arms flailing about.
An oem replacement pulley and then a crank set to bring it in line with the tune is what my future holds.
Thanks all and any other recommendations as always are appreciated.
You can always have the factory 74mm SC pulley machined down a few mm. Also this place https://shop.moscowsupercharge.com/product/msc-scp112k/ has 5 or 6 sizes made in either steel or titanium. Stay away from the aluminum
