Apologies if this is old news, but my search finds nothing. SRT6 Roadster. Was exploring the area under the antenna in prep to replace the gasket when I found an irregular block of foam, similar to the recycled foam carpet padding. Approx. 6" x 12" x 4". Not likely it got into that space by accident. Is it factory, does it have a purpose, maybe someone's attempt to silence a rattle? I will try to attach a photo.

Just a guess; the foam was probably used as sound deadener. Maybe installed at the factory or dealership.

Is this not the area where the pump for opening the doors/gas door is located? When I was under the foam insert in the rear bay, the pump was wrapped in foam that looked like that.
