Default Seat power switches RHD

Hi all, I am from Australia and have the RHD version of an SRT6.

My question is regarding the power switch assembly from the right side passenger seat of an American LHD car.

I am assuming the whole side assembly will just transfer to my RHD drivers seat

But does the American passenger seat switch assembly have all the functions of the drivers seat switches.

For example

Slide forward and back

Backrest forward and back

Height adjust up and down

Base seat tilt up and down

Thats 4 that I am aware of

I have not removed my seat switches as yet - but I see all the assemblies being sold on ebay from USA have 5 connection plugs - is that standard

thanks for your assistance

Hi guys,
Let me approach this a different way for your thoughts.
My car is a RHD srt6 roadster. It does have working height adjustment.
So, for ease of entry/exit I need to slide drivers seat back and forward each time I use the car.
The seat has no issues moving forwards with immediate response
However sliding back takes patience and some fiddling with slide switch before it does engage and go back.
Is there a clear fault that is easily identified here and straight forward to fix.
thanks again

It sounds like the contacts in the switch that slides the seat back could possibly be dirty or failing. The least expensive way to try and solve this would be to spray the switch with some contact cleaner and see if that changes anything.
If not, you might want to replace the switch. Just my opinion. Good luck!

Thanks M60A3Driver for your advice.
Just to clarify - if all seat functions work except for the intermittent slide back issue... Would that mean that the Relay is not the problem.
To use contact cleaner on the switch -- where are the contacts / access, Doesn"t look like spraying where the slide switch is would get anywhere
Would the seat then need to be removed and somehow open the control box??
cheers

Hi, You might be able to remove the plastic piece with the switches on it. Then you might be able to turn it over and access the switch contacts without removing the whole seat assembly. Disconnect the power wires first, then spray some contact cleaner in them.
I'm posting a link to one on e bay just so you can get an idea of what I'm talking about. I don't have power seats in my Crossfire but I've had them in other vehicles.

My relay was causing that problem. Everything worked except the forward and back. The relay fix on this forum fixed my issue. It was easy to solder.
