I want some one-ten octane…..
Ok Steve, I'll pump it out ASAP and get them both back to you.

If we take into account the auto's getting 255-265 stock, then I should be more like 275-280 because the drivetrain loss is less, the k&n filters and the beefy cold air tubes. And on the optomistic mustang dyno, maybe more like 300 lol, or who knows maybe 190. lol.

It would be fantastic to go, I'm just not sure I can swing it with everything going on right now.

With the wife gone and me in need of 4 seats and doors I finally found an E55 worth buying. Stomped on a BMW Alpina B7. Got a ticket for unsafe start doing a pretty massive burnout lol. Driven 600 miles with pure luxury. I love this thing . I'm so overly obsessed with Mercedes, I don't think anyone will catch me driving much else. It does everything I need, want and then some. Josh, Kudos 2ya! Nice looking ride, you deserve it…
Looks to be unmolested (temporally). Be adding a 580 @ crank tune are we?

I like the way you just bought the whole dang car ~ that will make the swap so much easier now….

Thanks John! And AGREED! Mercedes is just the way to go.

What do you mean? lol. If the 55 swap goes good in the xfire with the manual, then this beast is getting a manual too lol. I just don't want the E55 to be the experiment, that's what the xfire is for.

Thanks Steve! I may or may not throw the tune at it. It would take me all of about an hour but I'd like to get the cooling straightened out first, separated, bigger H/E, new IC pump, fix the stock BS intake tubes, better air filters, then see how it all stands. Like I said, the E55 will not be the experiment for much.

I kicked around swaping the motor's, but I think I'm just going to have 2 really fast car's. Keep the 55 motor in the 55 and just go get another 55 motor to drop in the xfire. That way no one can mess with either lol.

Can the swap be done with an automatic?

Of course, and everything will work. Even cruise control.

Jim, it's irritating that you come to MY thread when someone has a question, trying to take business from me. Stop, seriously. You didn't do anything to that car, and I know more of what's done to it than you do.

you don't know crap about my car except that is is a crossfire with a 5.5 motor. only local people that know me and my car know the things that i have done to it. didn't mean to irritate you about what you think you know and don't know. You have done a good job on your project, I see it as just that,, a project.
I have done projects like that for the last 50 years, jim

You're right Jim. I'm just a 22 year old, I don't know anything . I mean you really think with all the hours spent talking to Rudy that he didn't tell me what he's done??

I dare you to even try and OPEN a bosch ECU. Not the front, the back... Saying you could do even a fraction of what me or Rudy do is a huge joke to me. So keep down playing my "project" it helps me remember that you spent 10 times what I did for something there's multiple of and that I could do in a weekend....

And by the way, it's a 5.4, you don't even know what size your engine is...

Hell yeah lol. The E and the Xfire are going to be 9 second cars. This little dispute pushed me to this thinking...

O.K. you two stop this bickering, I know it's hard but you have to stop or i'll send you off to your rooms. Like a couple of kids fighting over a G.I. Joe
There, you been told. Save the bickering for Corkys Turbo thread where I seem to enjoy it more.

EXACTLY what I was referring to in the other thread. Act like your crap don't stink and you are better than everyone else because of what you paid someone else to do and I will call you on it every time!
Either way, I still have no problem with you Jim. Bow out, cut the bashing and all is good.
