Ha! I finally got to try out some EO nevr dull. Seems to work well. Not a dramatic improvement but an improvement nonetheless. Basically, I feel that the liquid brasso, upon initial application, produces a better shine, but the EO seems to have more bite. I'll be using both in the future nonetheless...too bad I didn't catch this build-up earlier on in the car's life or else it would of looked like Andrew's exhaust!

I haven't found the NeverDull, but I did take Wright's Silver Polish to my exhaust ... WOW what a difference ... Sorry I didn't take pics ...

Well, I've been on the fence about this tailpipe tips cleaning thing...whether to clean or paint, so I figured I'd clean first and see what the results were like then make up my mind. I just cleaned with degreaser and water, used very fine steel wool (the type I use for furniture finishing), and then put a sealer on it. They came out nice. HOWEVER, both my tips have identical marks on them that I could not buff out. Two mark are on each side of the pipe on the tips and they are identical in both tips. Is this something to do with the installation?

Have a look. In any event, this did not take long, my wife thinks I'm nuts, but I like the clean (not Mr. Clean, but close) look. I still have some work to do.
