Supercharger kit for The Limited XF

Do you know how they managed to lower the CR to 9:1 on the SRT6? Are they using stock 3.2L pistons and connecting rods, or are the heads machined different?
I look forward to hearing about the teardown!

Do you know which parts are different on AMG32?
I will guess they have different cams on AMG engine but not on the SRT6, due to the fact that the AMG32 makes 25 hp more than SRT6.
I know our 3.2 has forged connecting rods, so do the AMG/SRT motors.
Maybe they also have a higher flow oil pump? Supposedly HDDP has acquired an AMG engine, but he is being tight lipped on the difference between our N/A motors, for what ever reason it may be.

Update me, has anyone successfully accomplished this yet? Has anyone at all managed to supercharge or turbocharge a limited or base Crossfire other than myself in the few months I haven't been on since everyone rejected my kit? Just curious.

I know, I was frustrated with those that were rejecting it. All specs on my car will be available shortly along with the turbo kit for sale.

afws04, I'll be excited to get more info on your mods. I am sorry to see your frustrations with some members, but I can tell you that I can't wait to get more info on what you have done to your Crossfire.

The thing about the roots blower is they operate better at faster speeds mostly due to the gap sealing of the rotor against the housing, this is another reason I'm going centrifugal. If you get crazy your can change the pulley to 14 psi but you might want to order the AMG 32 pistons. That should get you up to 330 hp. After that the AMG cams are optimized for boosting, so you might get another 25 hp.

AMG/SRT and Kleemann use a Lysholm "twin screw" supercharger. They are efficient up to 18 psi or so. A roots blower like on the Cobra/Lightning and the Mercedes C230 are only efficient to maybe 8 psi.

I would think internals should be no problem... just purchase amg32 rods and pistons and but them in your n/a but keep in mind the n'a ecu can't see any boost so you will need to put a MAF sensor in that can see the boost and build all new fuel maps.

Also the one and only difference betwean th NA and supercharged is the heads. All other internals are the same so replacing the heads would almost give you an SRT-6 (minus the supercharger) unfortunatly the cost is $1600 a head. I also found a site were you can buy the factory supercharger again costly, around $4,600. The LET tune I was going to get has me a little worried now that my contact in LET hasnt contacted me in months. Maybe I can work with Split Second for the tune
