Install Sprint Booster
I read the instructions online. I have the nut cover off, then removed the nut with a 10mm socket. But i couldn't get the washer off. Any trick to getting it off? It said use a magnet, but i couldn't get it off with any magnet i had, i also tried a small flat blade, tape, needle nose pliers. Everything i could think. Well after 30 minutes it got too dark so i had to put it back together. So i guess what i need is exactly what you need to do to remove the washer other than "use a magnet". What shape was it? What did you put it on. Any tips on wiggling the pedal while trying. Everything will help, thanks.
I didn't have a small magnet on a stick like the picture i seen, I tried touching a big magnet to the end of my socket and pushing the socket down in there, but the washer wasn't moving. Some times i could rotate the washer, but couldn't get it to come up at all. I will have to try again tomorrow, but after reading everyone does it in 5 minutes i want to get it with out wasting another hour.
Just wiggle the pedal assembly a little to loosen it up and a magnet will pick it up. Some people have removed the side panel to access the back of the TPS but I can take the pedal out and replace it in just a few minutes.

Use the socket you used to remove the nut, attach some tape to the bottom/open end of the socket - pierce a hole in the middle so it will pass over the screw. The washer will stick to the tape.
OK i got it, my magnet wouldn't work. I even bought a pen magnet, but it wouldn't fit between the edge and the bolt, but i used my socket, and put 3 drops of super glue around the edge, then pushed it over the bolt and onto the washer, let it dry a minutes, came off. But took alot of wiggling, then i just poped the washer off the socket. Anyway the install went good and it works great, worth every penny.
Again... there is an easier method of installation that was first introduced by "upstate":
All you need is a Phillips screw driver! I've done this myself, and it works!
First remove the screw on the drivers side lower console where the vent is, 1/4 turn; this is a locking screw.
Remove the second Phillips holding the lower drivers side console panel. You'll have to do a little removal manipulation of the panel, but it bends quite easily; its plastic! You may have to depress the gas pedal for clearance and temporary removal.
Note: Always take note of how things fit a feel prior to panel removal, its just a good code to follow.
Get your flashlight, and look back above the Gas Pedal and there is the plug. Squeeze sides to release the locking mechanism, and unplug.
Install SB, make sure connection are secure, re-install lower side console, and finally re-install the vent!
Your Done!

Sounds easier, but it seems like a tighter spot to work. I was having a hard enough time the other way. I had my seat all the way back, and had my shoulders in as far as i could and my elbow could barely turn. The overall installation wasn't hard, but moving around was.
I installed my Sprint Booster on my '04 Crossfire Coupe today and all I can say is WOW !! I have read a lot about these here on the forum and it is by far the best mod for the money so far. Thanks to all here for your opinions and comments regarding these sprint boosters.
