Hesitation?
It ran great when i got it. Then it started with the hesitation. Its almost like i let my foot off of the pedal. It had 83,000 miles on it when i got it. So i replaced fuel filter since i was under it went ahead and put fuel pump on. That didn't work so i changed cam and crank sensors. Didn't help. I started getting a code for throttle sensor. So i ordered a throttle body from needswing.Ran fine for a few weeks. but started getting multiple misfires. Checked my coil packs 5 of the 6 were cracked. Thats when i did the tune up. I was having problems with my navigator vacuum lines so i replace all of them on the crossfire to. Today i pulled the air box off trying to find a leak. Noticed the mass air flow clip wasn't tight. The elbow was just moving around. Had to put a zip tie on it to tighten it. So far it hasn't hesitated. Love this car but its being difficult.
The clip isn't holding tight on the mass air flow so i had to put zip tie on it to hold. But it still didn't stop the hesitation. Its better but still there. Im going to buy a throttle pedal next when i get the extra money or mass air flow sensor and new clip.

I took your advice and took it back apart. The bottom elbow clip wasn't connected. But that gasket to the throttle body seems loose. Does anyone know the part number to it?

Figure 14-610 in the 2005 crossfire parts list for the NA. The gasket is listed as 05102933AA.

Looks like summit racing has it.

Better prices for the O-ring and the boot can be found here: mercedes parts 2003 SLK 320
and here: the boot
expect to pay too much for a part with only a Chrysler number.

Finally fixed my problem. I bought new caskets for the throttle elbow on both ends. Now the Mass air flow sensor fits tight. Still didn't fix my problem. Then I put a new mass air flow sensor on runs prefect again.
