Default White smoke with new muffler

I just had my Ansa installed today, and a friend took me over to pick it up. He followed behind me as we went back to work, as he wanted to hear the new exhaust. When we got back, he said that every time I went WOT, that white smoke came out the whole time I was in the throttle. He said that when I was at idle or normal acceleration, he did not see any white smoke. I am not saying that this has anything to do with the new muffler necessarily, as I have never had anyone following behind me before that would be able to tell me if it has been doing it previously.

Anyway, what could be causing this, and should I be concerned. Thanks

I searched, and everything I saw about white smoke was just on startup.

I'm pretty sure it is not from the new muffler
So how do you like the look and sound ??

I like the look of the Ansa, and the sound is pretty nice from what I can tell from inside. I would like to get someone to drive it for me so I can hear it from the outside. I had the resonator removed also, so it is a pretty big change. I will try to make a video this weekend.

Ohhh..... and on the sound. Under normal acceleration, it seems to have a nice rumble to it. When I go WOT, it has a totally different sound. From inside, it sounds like a high pitched whine. Almost like a SC whine on steroids. I was not expecting that.

And, I am with Valk. I am pretty sure the smoke has nothing to do with the Ansa. Just happened to be when someone was following me. And, I know you were just razzing..... I think...... well, I'm pretty sure. LOL

Darn, the Forum won't let me add any more words. I'm at my limit!

I know.... doesn't that suck? I keep having to remove stuff from my current mods, to add stuff to my wish list. I am always at the limit on my sig.

By the way, I do like the uniqueness of your sig.

Its the packing burning in, its a common thing on mufflers with fiberglass packing.

Thanks Infinite. I did not even know that it had fiberglass packing.

It might, it doesnt appear to be baffled like any others.
Its easy, just look down the tips, you should see perforated piping and some packing sticking out

+1 for infinite's response. My magnaflow smoked for the first couple miles. I think yours is just a muffler but when they bend the pipes for the catbacks there is a coating they use on the pipes, which will also burn off.
