O.K. I just pulled mine off and found the correct P/N. Mine is the same one that 180 referred to (A 112090 11 01). The number You show in the pic is on the side of the filter housing and refers to the filter element that fits this air box. So the one you have pics of is the correct box.
Thank you very much for your help! I am so glad that i didnt miss this good deal($60 for both of the pieces!!)So now we know that c320 wagon has the same engine as the regular c320
I ordered mine right now and cant wait to put it on my topless chick)
Hopefully there will be some improvement on performance..

Nice deal. Don't forget to buy new filters. I typed in the A 112 094 00 04 in Ebay and found a ton of filters all around $20 - $40 for the pair. These are much larger than the OEM filters.

On second thought, I'd wait until I got the cover. They might just come with some old K&Ns that just need cleaning.

Mann filters are on the way also
By the way, I forgot to ask, does this mod change the sound of the car? or I should keep looking for other mods to make it little louder?

This mod just basically feeds more air to the engine. To make it somewhat more effective, look into upgrading to the 74mm throttle body and 3" MAF. Muffler mods are about the only thing that will get her louder. Many are liking the Megan Racing M-RS muffler for around $130. Remember to save your pennies cause once you've added all the mods, the Eurocharge tune brings them all together!

I ordered the MAF ($25)
And a TB for 85
so I will do all the changes at the same time
but there is no way for me to pay about 50$ a piece for those 2 tubes to connect to the MB intake!
I would throw away the engine cover to trash instead of paying that much to a basic piece of hose haha

Question: Can the 74mm upgrade (tb, maf, elbow) work with the OEM cover? I've been reading thru the posts but have missed that detail.
Thanks in advance.
John

The OEM arms are slightly smaller then the M/B cover openings so they'll fit right into the inlets. I originally just wrapped the connected tubes with wide black electrical tape. Found some thin heavy adhesive-backed foam strip, wrapped around the end of tube and squeezed them in for a nice tight fit. Or for a more correct fit, see if you can find an adapter like 180 showed in his original post that matches up.

I have seen it somewhere few days ago when I was searching through the forum like crazy to suck up all the information possible and someone once said that they are 2 different things. Not related to each other.

Yes, the components you replace fit up just like the OEM do.

Take it another step for a few bucks.. get under hood sound and a little more out of it.. air temps are no worse than the OEM setup, and this is less restrictive..

That's a cool looking system. But here's a dumb question: Wouldn't it be more beneficial to pull air from in front of the radiator instead of the engine bay? Perhaps it makes little difference?
My mind is still thinking MGA and TR-3 technology, so bear with me.

That's the $800 dollar question .. LOL. spend away.

Okay .. yes it is.. but as I noted you can spend 800 (Dual) or this route with improvement over stock.

I received it yesterday and today installed it...
clamps from autozone worked perfectly. $7 each.
and I shaved about an inch from the intake hoses...
I havent seen a difference on the performance, but it looks cooler than before for sure!
thank you for everyone who made this mod easy for me.

Lookin good. Like I said before, you wont notice any performance improvement until you move up to a larger throttle body and MAF. The OEM ones are still sucking the same amount of air although you have improved the volume available. After you've added all mods (including exhaust ones) the tune tweaks it and SHAZAM!

As above, LOOKING GOOD !!!
One word of advise : I looked at final picture in hi-def and see leaves sticking out of the cowl cover.
You had best take that sucker off and clean out all the debris before you start to find water pooling on your floorboards !
( The headlights look like they need some TLC / polishing also : BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE ! )

MAF and the TB are on the way, I will put them on around friday, hopefully but I dont have any loose money left for the tune
This was the reason for why I added a full engine bay picture, I knew someone would see something wrong and warn me before the problem starts to give me a headache! Thank you

Is there a difference between engine cover 1120940004 and A1120901101? They look exactly the same and the 04 one matches the filter #. I can find a much better deal on the 0004 cover w/ filters than just the cover for 1101.
