Catch can with a catchy appearance
Here's my own interpretation of a catch can. Is is designed with the 4cyl. tuner car in mind, so, I added a 3rd port to allow venting of both valve covers. The can has a level indicator so you know when it is time to service it.

Your added port.. is that tubing running back to the throttle body port?
When you added your port.. I'm guessing you would have noticed any baffeling in it?
Did you pull the original ports (looks like they are removable)..dip tube to direct through baffeling?
And last but not least.. couldn't you add a "y" type adapter and use the original ports only?

Re: Catch can with a catchy appearance
I received an answer from both this vendor and from another selling an alternative:
eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices
And the answer from both was: No. There is nothing inside either of them.
The one I show above can be taken apart and one can put anything one wishes inside.
I'll be getting this one sometime soon.

Maybe Rob needs to add this feature to his can ?
his system helps keep oil out of your intake system and puts it back into your engine where it belongs.

Seems a good idea to me. Better still, you do it, and take plenty of pictures showing all connections, for an idiot like me to follow, so I can do it. LOL

Any thoughts on using a T or Y type connector instead of adding another port?

The catch can is installed in this circuit and filters (traps) all this goo before it's burned. Saving the pristine beauty of your throttle body, intake manifold and valves..etc. etc. etc.

I'm cleaning/beadblasting a set of valve covers right now and the holes between the small "breather covers" and the actual valve cover part is surprisingly small. I can't imagine a pressure difference between the 3 hose outlets.
But maybe someone else can chime in?

( the third one is the vacuum port on the throttle body, so I'm SURE there will be a pressure difference between that one and the two valve cover connections, else we're pooting in the wind)

The pressure at each outlet will be the same ignoring small pressure losses due to obstructions in the flow unless the ports are greatly different in size. The pressures will balance out in the can.
