How many have got a deposit refund would be a much shorter list.

This entire situation is just really disgraceful. Crossfire is such a cool car, one of the coolest I've ever owned and I've owned several high end sports cars. And no one can treat the car and the community with the respect it deserves. makes me sick.

Hi Bill
Doing a followup, did you ever get a V8 Airbox ? If so, how do you like it.
Do you feel you have more Horsepower, deeper sound? Just wondering how you made out
Bart

Anyone feel like harassing the Begi facebook page? Maybe if more people ask for an update here there will be a real answer. I asked about this turbo kit and never got a reply. Someone else also got a reflash on their MX-5 and they tune blew their motor.

I think this is a great idea, I posted the following on their page...

"Like Selby, I too would like an update on the Chrysler Crossfire turbo kit. It has been quite a while since the project started (over 12 months ago) and we have been promised updates that have never materialized..."

My post with the blown engine complaint.. They might start to feel the need to address things rather than trying to sweep it under the carpet for another day..

Greg Pylant I'm going to play nice "here".. see Engine & Exhaust - CrossfireForum.orgEngine & Exhaust - CrossfireForum.org

I got the following response:

"Corky has been working on the system. He sid he will have a list for me of the items done on the system and items that still need to be done. I will post it as soon as he gives it to me."

To which I responded:

"Thank you, do you think you could ask him about an ETA? Based on what we were told by Corky from the beginning, the project should have been done about a year ago..."

I am being nice, but not pulling any punches. At this point, what do we have to lose. This kit would have to be pretty facking nice for me to even consider it at this point, but those who have their deposits in deserve better....

I've written the deposit off already. "Maybe" I'll get surprised... or billed for a system for failure to full fill contract.. LOL.

I haven't kicked at this dog just for the sake of other members who might still be holding to it's completion.

I guess DJ must be mad at all of us..

This is how I feel about it at this point too.

I'd love to stir the pot, but I have no skin in the game.

Best of luck to you guys, maybe you'll get some resolution with it being public.

I am hoping the publicity of it starts to get some results, but IMHO we are not stirring the pot. Instead of plastering this thread and others with bitching, I figured I would go to the horses mouth. If asking a simple question about completion is 'stirring the pot' or 'kicking the dog' then I guess I am in the wrong place...

I will more than likely end up with a V8 one of these days, especially if Josh has some luck (hint hint, Josh LOL) but I still think, at a minimum that DJs car needs to be finished for all he has gone through.

Edgy today? Calm down John, LMAO. I was saying that I would love to stir the pot. You know me, I've never been short on words, or ways to provoke a delinquent business into serving the customer. My squeaky wheel got our header deposits refunded...

It appears, for some reason, that you think that I view "stirring the pot" in a negative manner. Far, FAR from it.

It's been over a year since the projected completion date. At this point, a grenade in the pot isn't out of line, let alone a spoon. Anything said by anyone at this point wouldn't be out of line.

Sigh, always so depressing to open this thread. Maybe all of the deposits will have accumulated enough interest to pay for everyone's kit by the time 2 weeks is up.

Don't worry, she may be done pretty soon

I agree about DJ's car though, regardless of aesthetics it should at least be functional. He can always improve on there design down the road.

I agree, a grenade in the pot isn't out of line at this point. There is just too much they did wrong, lack of communication being a biggie.

For me someone should have just had some integrity by this point and layed it out straight. I'm patient and willing to wait for a product but tell me. After the initial period had passed if Corky showed up and said hey we bit off way more than we can chew, our books are bad but we are going to get this done but we are looking at a year. Then followed that up with real updates on progress even if it was liitle piddly **** I would be totally happy. 2 weeks, 2 weeks, 2 weeks, from a second hand source is ridiculous. End monthly rant.

When I first heard about this kit "soon" being completed I was like:

and here we are a year later:
