I was the one who asked the question about that! Lol how can they make that claim when its untested? So much is in the air with this project its depressing.

They're information is somewhat lacking. Do they not realize the supercharged version is completely different internally?

They couldn't even figure out to do an initial dyno, so I would not be surprised by this at all.

Then again, nothing they could do, save for produce a working, boosted car, would surprise me

Lmao, at this point I feel the same way. If it actually materializes, I would be surprised too lol.

It's funny you mention the dyno, or lack there of lol. I was just told how dyno mode on our cars works. I had heard all the fuse pulling ideas and such but apparently all they had to do was just drive normally for a minute-ish, wait for the onslaught of dash lights and proceed to make pulls lol.

FRIDAY FUN WITH STEPHANY:

Thinking I may just make this a weekly mission.. LOL. >>>>

Just 2 more weeks, RIGHT?

The more you post.. the more the ignorance in this car shows..and gets reported back to the forum... Which does show up in a google search.. Almost like you guys just want a noose around your neck over this retirement project.

Well the close of yet another business week. No updates and no photos from Begi.
For what they are worth, they 're bullshit anyhow
Here is a amusing cut and paste from 7 months ago off of Facebook. And they had the nerve to refer to one of our Forum members a liar.
Hope anyone thinking of getting one of these kits does their research.

BEGi / Bell Engineering Sorry, I've been out of the office sick with pnemonia. All of the turbo system parts are built except the shield/box for the air filter, and the oil return pump needs a mounting bracket. All other items are done. Including the: intercooler, turbo to exhaust, intercooler tubes, etc. Parts have been removed as of last week to make fixtures to reproduce the parts. All fixtures are made except one intercooler tube, oil pump mount, and the sheild/box for the air filter. We have someone coming in Thursday to bolt everything back up on the car. If it all fits well, we are sending the tubes to powder coating. While the tubes are being coated, we will bolt on the FMU for testing and install the coolant and oil lines. The car running depends on a couple of things. But it should be running in about 10 days.

10 more days, 10 more days.

Wow.....Begi.....There were 80000 naturally aspirated cars produced. Great running little cars just begging to be boosted and you have failed to step up to the plate and miss out on a lot kit sales. I saved this thread long ago hoping I was wrong, but it looks like your marketing sees no future in sales here. Too, bad as I know personally a lot of owners that would have purchased a reasonably priced kit. Your company came highly rated, but I guess our cars aren't or weren't worth your interest. I own 2 supercharged cars and love them and have been supported by vendors in our market. You have missed a loyal following...and a great opportunity. Sorry guys, I thought they would step up...

So I decided to poke around the internet on BEGI. They suck. This kit will never happen. Check out this poor guy on this forum... I just absolutely unloaded on someone from BEGi (miata) : General Chat.
Stephanie at BEGI sounds like a waste of space.

Well another close of a business week and no updates. Plus another "Cut and Paste" from their facebook:

BEGi / Bell Engineering Sorry guys, the phone has been very busy this week. Even working until 11 pm most night I am still not caught up. We have been fitting parts up on the car as promised. Some parts have needed tweaking a bit, or a bung added somewhere. As fit has been confirmed we have made parts drawings and updated the fixtures. It is not running yet, as parts needed some adjustment. We will get it running as soon as possible though. We have also hired a part time guy to come in and assist Corky in getting this done ASAP. We have three major priorities at the moment and this is one of them, I promise. Each project has its own guy so no ones time is split on priority. I should have some more photos after the holiday.
May 23 at 8:30am

Well we know how our priority is doing I wonder how their other 2 priorities are progressing?

No surprise here, another business week has come and gone with no pictures, no update of the build. I suppose one of these years Corky will surprise us, maybe ?.

Will Corky live long enough to see this project to an end is the real question!

I guess this depends on whether a customer shortens his life or Armageddon comes before the project is done. Someone else on the forum thinks Armageddon will happen first.

Yet the close of another business week and no new updates or PHOTOS.

I have been to Begi's Facebook page and it looks more like a advertising spot for
Eric LaCore Photography. To bad he can't take a few photos of the Crossfire that's been there almost 2 years so we can get a update on all Begi's progress, or lack of.
That's it for this week and keep those cards and letters coming in.

Do you really think the donor Crossfire is still there?

Then that may be the answer.

I think we better leave DJ alone. He will talk about the situation when he feels like it...or he won't. It's nice just to have him back posting.

+1

I wish everyone would refrain from asking DJ for a comment on the situation! If you have an IQ over 90, you should understand its a sensitive matter!

Thanks.

You are both correct, I retract the statement "Ask DJ". I wasn't thinking, my bad.

I'll edit the post.
