Default question 74mm TB

Hey all, just a quick question about the 74mm TB. I have picked one up a used one and am ready to istall it but I have a quick question. I have been reading through the posts and frankly there are so many threads that some of the information gets lost in the sauce. Will my current MAF unit fit the 74mm TB or do I need to buy something else? Want to upgrade to the CAI in the future but no funds at this time. Thanks,

Yes, you use the stock MAF sensor and install it into the 74mm MAF housing. Usually you should get the MAF housing with the throttle body as one piece. If not, the Needswings CAI comes with the housing that you will need.

Hence the problem.. I bought the 74mm TB only and not the housing. So my my old one will not work and I need to pick up a 74mm housing?

You can just replace the throttle body and put everything else back together. The only thing (which should make sense here) is that at wide open throttle you have a 3" hole sucking air through a 2 3/4" straw..

The old O ring will probably be toast.
Don't start until you have a new one in hand.
