Default Opinions on Borla or Magnaflow

I know....I know another exhaust thread.

I have the luxury due to getting rear ended on Valentines day of getting my exhaust replaced and the Insurance paying for it from the at fault driver. The factory exhaust of course retails for $1140 from the dealer and I have gotten the OK from State Farm to get and aftermarket exhaust (obviously because it saves them money). I have question and I understand this is preference. Which one would you guys go with??? I do like the Borla for a classier look however the Magnaflow for sound. My 05 Roadster Limited is a daily driver so which one would you guys go with if you were not paying for it???

I'm a Borla fan, I have the OBX Racing ( Chinese knockoff ) version.
You could get one of those and pocket the $300 difference.

Magnaflow for sure

Sounds great. looks great and is very popular on our Crossfires
May I suggest you buy it from a well respected long time member here who provides many after market items for our cars.
Rob at Needswings.com can supply you with this set up
I got mine paid for through State Farm and I purchased mine through Rob @ Needswings

Valk
I noticed your setup looks like a dual inlet where the link shows a single. Do you have a different pipe arrangement or am I just looking at it wrong?
Thanks

It is a single inlet and a direct bolt on set up and uses the stock hangers for support
Here are some better pics

Had one on my XF before I went to the Magnaflow cat back. IMHO no contest, Magnaflow hands down.

My original choice was the Flowmaster Super 44 but after hearing the Magnaflow I went with it instead. Glad I did. Not sure if this will work but if you can get this to open I think you will see what i mean.

Borla, not the $250. one but an $89. Pro XS. No drone and makes good torque down low. It can be loud though so if your car has a resonator try it with that first. No offence but Flowmasters are a chambered muffler and they are junk. Usually VERY loud with plenty of drone.
