Yes or a long zip tie has been used before. You can remove the red fill tube locking cap again if you remove it as explained in a few posts here.
You can buy the dipstick from China for about $7 or get the same think in the US for $40 or so.

BE VERY CAREFUL, the fluid you buy. Make sure it is rated for the CROSSFIRE transmission or you'll need a new transmission very soon (if the wrong stuff is added).

Alright, I have the part & the right fluid. Where do I find a dipstick for the transmission fluid? Any links to a cheap one would be appreciated.

I just wanted to say thank you all for the information... We (aka my sweet grease monkey wife) got under the car and replaced the part. There’s been no leak in over a day and I’m going to owe her a romantic evening (no worries there). 😁🍻
