Default Window Sticker

Well, after Chrysler told me I could get a copy of the original window sticker for my 2007 Limited Coupe from the original selling dealer, I sent the dealer (Lee's Summit Chrysler Dodge Jeep) a fax on 12/29 requesting such. Got a call from a Customer Service representative at the dealer earlier this morning. She confirmed that she could get me the window sticker and it would take about 2 weeks to receive it. She also gave me the option of using snail-mail for no charge or I could have it sent FedEx and that would cost me $12.50.

Anyway, the window sticker is on its way and I'm looking forward to getting it. For others interested in obtaining a copy of your Crossfire's window sticker, Chrysler told me that the original dealer can request a copy of the window sticker for 5 years from original sale date. If you don't know the name of the original dealer, contact Chrysler Customer Service via their website, provide the VIN and ask who the original dealer was. I got an eMail response from Chrysler within 24 hrs.

Question:

Let us know what you receive. When I requested one from the dealer I received the one that they post on the internet for a new car sale which is not the exact window sticker, but is a sort of facsimile of one.

I contaced Chrysler about getting mine. The rep gave me the name/address/phone number of the selling dealer. My car was sold new at University Park CJD in South Bend, IN.

I contacted them twice about getting a window sticker. Once they know I am not the original owner, they give me the run around and pass me on from one person to another and nothing has happened. I contacted Chrysler again and explained my issue, and they can't force the dealer to help me. What a crock...

This is mine, the prices are in Canadian dollars, which puts it at just under US$40,000. I wonder why they never sold too many, I paid about 1/3 less (new) in '05. Still not cheap, but what the heck, got to have them toys.
Also added a shipping label and Standard Equipment.

Same thing happened to me James...the dealer said they couldn't get it, and Chrysler would only send me the build sheet. I would love to have the window sticker...

Received a phone call from Lee's Summit CDJ customer service rep earlier today. She indicated that the factory window sticker was received by them today and she wanted to confirm my shipping address. Should have the document by end of week. Will post further comments once document is received.

Well, here's my final update on this thread. I received the window sticker in today's mail from the original dealer, Lee's Summit CDJ in Missouri. Turns out I got an exact duplicate of the factory window sticker, printed on the "peel & stick" 11 x 17 paper. Fresh, no wrinkles, pristine condition! Absolutely Great!! Dealer in MO was really a big factor in getting this for me. As per some earlier replies, other original dealers can turn out to be problems when trying to get this simple task done for a new owner.

Wowzer, the real original window sticker.

I believe a lot of us will be following in your footsteps.
Who did you talk with at the dealer - I mean what department?

thanks for all your efforts to date.

all I did was contact chrysler customer service with the cars vin and such, they emailed it to me, but was no help in getting a winder sticker...the dealership where the car was originally sold was no help as well. So I guess I will copy dedwards reply on here and send it to them again requesting the info again and see what happens...

I contacted the original selling dealer via fax once I received the contact info from Chrysler thru the Chrysler Owner's website. Dealer called me on my cell phone within a day or two after I sent fax. Told me the only fee would be for FedEx shipment if I wanted it sent that way. Otherwise, no fee would be applicable for getting the window sticker from Chrysler. Window sticker was sent to dealer by Chrysler and the dealer forwarded it to me via USPS (snail mail). Came in about 2-3 days at my door. Actually a very painless process and straight forward, just as Chrysler told in their original reply to me when I requested info on sticker & paint code.

Below is the text from my fax to dealer:

Subject: 2007 Chrysler Crossfire Limited Coupe (VIN 1C3LN69L47X074235)

Attn: Customer Service, Lee’s Summit Chrysler Dodge Jeep

I purchased a 2007 Chrysler Crossfire Limited Coupe (VIN 1C3LN69L47X074235) from Northtowne Mitsubishi on 10/04/08. This vehicle was originally sold by your dealership in APR/08. Car only had 1500 miles on it at time of my purchase & was in pristine condition. My wife & I had been looking for a top quality, previously-owned Crossfire for a few months and this one was such an excellent example we couldn’t pass it up. And we absolutely love the car!

I’m interested in getting a copy of the original window sticker for this vehicle. According to feedback from Chrysler, the original selling dealer can submit this request to Chrysler for a period of 5 years from original date of sale. If there is a fee for this request, just let me know and I’ll send payment for this.

Sincerely,

Did that sheet only show the standard equipment and options OR did it show all the DATES in the whole ordering and build / shipping process of the car?
