Headlamp / Foglamp Condensation
Noticed it today while washing my CF. A search here found a wealth of info on this subject and found the TSB info on it and will purchase the kit shortly. All condensation went away in less than an hour without using the headlights.
My question is, I also noticed a very small amount of condensation in the fog lamps. Is there anything one can do about that? Did not see much info regarding this.

If you have already got HID's keep them as spares in case you go back to OEM specs for some reason, you never know.
Some of the kit (one cap and plugs) and an OEM cap and vents.
I never had condensation problems at all and I attribute it to DTRL's, major problems I think are caused by a leaking headlamp unit.

I guess, at any rate, I should try the TSB fix first and see what happens. Your DTRL theory sounds plausible. I always use my headlamps while driving. Of course, they are not on while washing.

I washed mine on Saturday and also immediately noticed some very light foggy condensation. However, it dissapeared while I was chamoising the car. Not a permanent issue for me.

Even a drop in ambient temperature can cause that, air can only hold so much water at a given temperature.
Do you have the kit fitted?

Thank you Sir. Those little caps ,I see actually block the vents? The big one have some kind of air vent system? and they work? Will the condensation eventually dry? Thank you again one hundred.

Use a hair dryer if you have a lot of moisture.
I have never had a moisture problem except a small misting due to changes in temperature. I put it down to the DTRL's we have in Canada.
That membrane on the new large caps must let the air pressure stabilize and be somewhat resistant to moisture passing through it.
Thank you one hundred, you were bang on! It has improved and is improving. I'LL get a new vent pipe.Ive put a temporary tube on till it comes . Many thanks.
