Hey i read through your thread on this, and i see you wedged the LEDS between the headlight assembly and the rubber gasket surrounding the headlight, how did you do that ? did you have to remove the light assembly to get them in place or did you pry down the gasket and slide them in?

 

No....it was quite easy. I used a plastic hotel room card key to slip between the gasket and headlight and simply applied the self adhesive strip lights under the gasket where I wanted them. I started at the wired end as the starting point and worked my way around the headlight until I decided to cut the strip where I wanted to finish off (cutting only where you are allowed according to the instructions) They are almost completely hidden and have remained attached for the last two years.

 

so is the adhesive side of the strip applied to the rubber gasket or to the headlight assembly?
