Update: I order the second pair(VoRock) and put them in today, had to finish early to return to work but they are sooo much better. Just have them installed on the lows right now. Here are some pics of them next to my high beams and how I installed them. They are obviously too big so I need to find a new way to water proof them. Updates coming soon!

If you cannot fit those rubber caps back on the back of the headlight you will get lots of moisture in the the unit and that is not good.

Yep! correct, i found tonight that i had improperly fitted them. I fit them correctly tonight so the whole light unit does fit inside the housing now however, im going to have to make a hole in the rubber for the adapter cord. My plan is to cut the hole and seal everything with electrical tap to stop moister. Question though is when i seal the unit will it over heat the light? The lights have large fans but i thought that LEDS produced very little heat?

I installed Morimoto 2stroke leds and am able to put the rubber caps back in place,
I was able to place ALL the wires inside the housing so I didn't have to modify the rubber caps.
I have kept track of the temperature, after 15 minutes on, the housing is barely warm to the touch.

What is the secret to getting the wire retainers on over the "radiator" on these bulbs?

The secret is that you don't try.
You put one leg into one holder, then the top of the loop into the latch, then the other leg into the other holder.
Even at that, the OEM retainer is somewhat deformed, but it works.
I ordered a new set of retainer springs ( for a SAAB ) that are made kinda square, haven't tried them yet.

BTW, don't even THINK of trying this with the headlight assembly in the car

BTW I got the lights to fit in the housing correctly with no modification. I would suggest Diode Dynamics if you have the money though. These generic lights are not built specifically for our cars so the projector lights hinder the lights potential. They are just as good as the halogens but no real light output improvement other than look

Are these the 2stroke originals or the 2.0. Also, did you need the anti flicker harness? And were these for your highs or lows?
