Got PMs from you all. If I get to Vegas early enough I'll stop by to say hi. I may get caught in LA traffic though.

Any possibility you guys would care to head down to Freemont st after dinner around 9:00pm ??
My wife and Victor are seeing a show at the same hotel while we have dinner and I'm gonna meet them when the show ends and the three of us are going down to Freemont st.

We took a Helicopter Tour from Las Vegas and over Hoover Dam and landed in the Grand Canyon for an hour before returning back over the Vagas strip after dark.

Enjoy your stay! Did your helicopter tour fly over the spot light on the Luxor? Hope you get to stumble across an Elvis impersonator convention. I once saw about 15 of them eating at a buffet and it was mind blowing You should visit that gun shop on tropicana (if I remember) where you can shoot different fully auto machine gun on their range. Its a popular attraction that anyone can give you directions to...really close to the strip. Happy turkey day!!!

Well it was nice meeting Moparrbust -Mike and his beautiful fiancé Andrea and Brent for dinner last night on the strip.
I had a nice time talking with them over a great dinner.
I also want to thank Bazzer for starting this thread.
I sort of hijacked it with my photos and videos..
Unfortunately he didn't join us for dinner but I hope he's enjoying Vegas.
I'm sure he will post back here once returning home to the UK.

Flying home this morning to have Thanksgiving dinner with the extended family.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone !!!

Hi Guy's,

We had a great time out in Vegas but unfortunately never made the meal. The was due to the fact I had to keep my phone switched off to conserve the battery as I forgot to pack the charger. Therefore I never got the details of the meal until after the event.

Thanks to Gary for attempting to contact me, I did recieve your voicemail, only a little late due to the above.

We also flew to the Grand Canyon via Hoover Dam on the morning of Turkey Day and then caught the Cirque de Soleil 'O' show at the Bellagio in the evening. Both were a truly memorable experience.

We also watched Phantom of the Opera in the Venetian and Zumanity at New York - New York.

I drove a Nascar for 8 laps around the las Vegas Speedway and hit 134mph That was one amazing experience, and I thought Nascar was boring until now.

We hired a car and visited Red Rock Canyon and the Valley of Fire which were breathtaking. The scenery was simply stunning.

I got the wife on the Manhatten Express Rollercoaster at New York - New York and she crapped herself. I loved it and managed to get her onto the Canyon Blaster Rollercoaster at Circus - Circus. We both bottled it for the Stratosphere rides though, although the views were stunning.

The Vocano at the Mirage and the Fountain Show at the Bellagio were fantastic, although both best seen at night. We watched them both several times and never got dissapointed or bored with them. It was a shame the Pirate Ship at Treasure Island was out of service as I was really looking forward to watching the Sirens TI show.

To top it off, we had an amazing 10 days out in Vegas, and can't wait to return. New York is our next destination for my wife's 30th birthday and Valentines Day in February. I'm taking an empty suitcase with me as the clothes out in the US are much cheaper than here in the UK. Whilst in Vegas I bought lots of nice new cloths and nearly burst my suitcase when packing to come home.

My wife and I visited Las Vegas a few years ago and enjoyed it very much. We just stayed there for three days and then had a road trip around the area for four days, Route 66 etc.
The Hoover Dam was a nice but the view of the Grand Canyon from the South rim was just mind boggling, just as we got there the rain came and I thought thats it for any sights. But it cleared up almost at once and we had spectacular views of rainbows above and in the canyon. We had walked from the car park, everything around was just flat, and all we saw were bushes, we went down a path and there it was .......... stunning.
If you have never seen the Grand Canyon put it on your bucket list, you will not be disappointed.

Sounds like you saw everything except the Fremont Street Experience.
Sorry we didn't connect for dinner but glad you had a good trip.
Happy Holidays to you and your family.

Yeah, we missed out on the Fremont Street and old Vegas but will save that for next time. I crammed too much in and missed this bit out.
