Default Thanks again...

Well, been working at getting forum members to check out cars for me. When I talked to a dealer 300 miles away, I could tell the girl was disappointed I was so far away. I told her I was in "the Crossfire Club" and would maybe get someone over there in a day or two to look the car over. She seemed to doubt me. Original thread here: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...c-members.html

Well, the next day, (today) team Rv Xfire08 showed up to look the car over.

Just got an email from the sales girl, this was her response:

HEY MARK, JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THAT (Manager) REQUESTED THAT I GIVE YOU HIS PERSONAL CELL NUMBER IN CASE YOU NEEDED HIM FOR ANYTHING. xxx/xxx-xxxx. HE WILL BE THERE TO ASSIST YOU WITH ANY FURTHER INQUIRIES. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH YOU. IT WAS DEFINATELY A LEARNING EXPERIENCE. I NEVER QUITE IMAGINED A FORUM WOULD BE AS CONNECTED AS YOU ARE WITH THE OTHER FORUM MEMBERS. SO THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT EXPERIENCE. IF I CAN BE OF ASSISTANCE ANY FURTHER, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

THANK YOU SO MUCH,

Jessica *****
BDC/Internet Representative
***** Ford Lincoln Mercury
(xxx) xxx-xxxx

Are we not an impressive bunch?

That's what it's all about. Just another reason this is such a great forum!

And on an unrelated note, the play is taking over my life. I am on "mental overload" and am doing with less sleep than I like, but this is going to be FUN!!!

Well, there IS a character in the play who IS the "rear end of a horse" but I am not good enough for THAT role.

I'm happy being the Lawyer, one of only two "strait men" in the whole play. A lot of laughs are scored off me, but I am not funny in the play - I find myself in a town full of greedy, self-centered crazies.

But again, we REALLY hit this one out of the park!

Yea, this has been quite a process, hasn't it? Looks like a few more days and it'll be over.
