Two simple mistakes. One doesn't offset the other. Don't pull out in front of people. Speeding or not speeding. I wish they would stop at the damn stop sign...

90% of all vehicle accidents involve two fools behind the wheel.

I do not wish to take away from the message of the video. But, the speeding driver had options for which he should hae been prepared when he made the decision to go fast. Decisions he should have been prepared to make, even at a legal speed.

THE BRAKE PEDAL IS NOT A PAUSE BUTTON!

#1 is inattention. Just about every accident I ever worked. The root cause was inattention. Somehow, someway, they were distracted for a moment.

YEP!

Cellphone, eating, changing the radio, daydreaming. Far more dangerous than speed alone. Put together, certain dissastor.
